On the 5th of January 2016, this blog crossed quite a significant milestone – 1,000,000 page views! I had actually crossed the 1 million mark if you counted all the views that my old WordPress domain blog had but I wanted to hold off till my Analytics actually displayed the big 1 million number before commemorating it.
It took about 2 years and 4 months to get here and I owe it all to last year’s explosive growth.
To celebrate, I’ve pulled out Mr Gold from his display and gathered as many Bunny Suit Guys as possible (my favourite minifig of all time) to snap this photo!
I’m absolutely floored that this blog has come so far. Personally, it’s an incredible accomplishment and a stepping stone towards greater things. When I first started this blog, I never dreamed of hitting 1 million page views and I am absolutely ecstatic about it.
Thank you to all my readers (you know who you are) for getting me to this huge, huge milestone. It means the world to me and I am super glad to be sharing this accomplishment with all of you! This will definitely spur me on to the next million views, which I have a personal target of hitting by the end of this year! Onwards and upwards!
As a special thank you for all your support, I’ll be giving away one Pyjamas Emmet polybag! Unlike other giveaways, this will be open worldwide. All you have to do is leave a comment under this post and be sure to include your email address so I can contact you if you win. I’ll ship it to anywhere in the world that is able to receive mail. Winner will be drawn randomly on the 19th of January 2016.
UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who commented! Due to the large number of comments, I’ve decided to give out 2 Pyjamas Emmets! Congratulations to Alastair and Alana! I’ll be sending you an email to get your details!
Thank you so, so much for all your support! To new readers, old readers who have been here since day one and to all my future readers, I hope to serve you in an even bigger capacity moving forward!

The non entertainers are being banished from the competition! The first to go — two girls were excellent in their creativity. colour selections and completion on time. They were criticized for size proportion of sea creatures when 3D view can present the sizes to be different. The winners of the apartment challenge had a huge spider outside which was not in proportion to the humans inside. Brick man is very biased in his judgment. He targets the ones who are not vocal. Pretty subjective!

That’s because what you write is relevant and easy to read making it appealing to a broad market of Lego Lovers. I regularly show your work to my children and they very much enjoy and understand your words. Onwards and upwards to 2,000,000!
Jay says
Thanks, Alana! That’s definitely my aim, making LEGO and the love of the plastic brick as accessible to everyone as possible!

Mark says
Congratulations Jay, it’s a huge achievement! It’s great to see Mr Gold and the Bunny men help you celebrate too : ) I think your target of 2 million views is very conservative, I’m betting you will hit that within 4-6 months. This is the internet after all, and as you said, growth last year was “explosive” so I’m expecting exponential growth. Your blog is one of the standouts at a time when the quality of the some of the other bigger sites is waning. It seems like you are getting a lot more international visitors, which is great, and I’ll be linking to your reviews where possible in other forums. Best wishes for the year ahead, it’s going to be another awesome wallet busting year for Lego fans!
Jay says
Thanks Mark! Yeah, thought I’d bust out the VIP for this occasion.
I don’t know about your projections but I will try my best and just keep doing what I’m doing.
Yup, I get most of my visitors from the US followed by Australia, so it’s a healthy balance. Will definitely retain the Aussie flavour.
Thanks so much for your tremendous support, it means heaps to me!
Brenton says
