May the 4th Star Wars offers from LEGO [AUS/US]

Happy Star Wars Day! In case you weren’t aware, the 4th of May is celebrated as Star Wars every year, mostly because you can greet people with “May the 4th be with you.

It’s a little quiet this year Down Under, with no huge Star Wars events happening in the country, which is a little disappointing, but that will hopefully mean that LEGO Australia have something big up their sleeves for Christmas.

In 2015, Master Builders Chris and Dan Steininger constructed a massive Millennium Falcon in Melbourne and in 2014, Dan Steininger whipped up a huge Darth Vader model in Sydney.

May the 4th Sale LEGO Star Wars

Anyway, to commemorate Star Wars Day, LEGO.com is kicking off a flash sale for Australia and New Zealand where selected Star Wars sets (seems like all SW sets) are 10% off. This includes big ticket items like the UCS Sandcrawler, UCS Slave 1, Ewok Village and UCS Tie Fighter.

The  latest “UCS” set, Assault on Hoth is unfortunately not included in this tale. Thanks Richard for the correction!

I’ve received my review copy of Assault on Hoth from LEGO, but it’s going to take me awhile to build and photograph it. I’m almost done setting up my room after my move, so reviews should resume shortly!

Assault on Hoth Promo

Add that together with VIP points you get from the purchase and you get a pretty decent discount on sets that don’t usually go on sale.

This sales ends at midnight, so get in quick!

May the 4th 2016 Promo Stormtrooper

As an added bonus, you’ll also receive a free exclusive First Order Stormtrooper minifigure after purchasing more than AU$100 worth of Star Wars products. This promotion ends on 7 May 2016. For a more in-depth look at the minifig, check out Brickset’s review.

Additionally, there seems to be a Star Wars poster added into your shopping cart as well.

For Americans, you guys get to enjoy Double VIP points on all Star Wars purchases, as well as the First Order Stormtrooper and poster freebies as well.

Special thanks to Mark for the heads up on the sale. Happy shopping!

That’s actually an activity that I’m considering/planning! Maybe not with the Hoth set, but for upcoming releases 😉
