Australian LEGO Sales May 2016

We’re very close to June, which is then the Australian mid-year toy sale traditionally kicks off, so it’s been pretty quiet on the LEGO sales front for now.

Fret not, as Myer finally has a sale worth shouting about!

Myer  (20 – 22 May)

Myer May Super Weekend 20 percent off LEGO

Myer has another one of their Super Weekend sales and this time they have 20% off all LEGO, except for Creator Expert sets. The sale is currently live online but will only begin in-store tomorrow. The sale ends on Sunday, 22 May.

20% off all LEGO is great, and if you’re lucky, you might be able to snag some of the new Disney Minifigures if there’s stock. If not, there’s plenty of Series 15 to go around last I checked.

The No Creator Expert clause is a little bit of a hassle, but word on the street is that the Brick Bank and Ferrari F40 has been spotted in a few Myers. I checked Melbourne CBD yesterday at lunch and didn’t manage to see any. They’re very likely to be Myer exclusives for the upcoming toy sale catalogue.

LEGO Minecraft 21128 The Village VIP Early Access

Not really a sale, but the LEGO Minecraft 21128 The Village set is now available as an Early Access VIP set. Here’s the links to the purchase pages:

I should be getting one soon, so look out for a review!

That’s it for now, watch this space any more sales and thanks to everyone who emailed in with tip offs!

    Hi All,
Few deals i have seen this week:

DJs has 20% of everything excluding creator expert (they had lots of the new creator season’s sets a the Glen in Vic)

TRU has 20% of the ebay store right now including the Opera House.

Target has S7 (not any of the other series) mixels for $3. Not $3 on the shelves in most stores, but that’s what they are scanning at.

The Problem with Myer discounts is there price is high to start with, So when mosts sets are discounted and the price come down, Other stores are sometimes cheaper to start with, Strange marketing, Don’t you Think

Your greeting the Village? You are so lucky!

I think you should play Minecraft before reviewing it, so you get the general idea of what the LEGO designers were aiming to create.

I would so buy the set, on 75% discount because that’s all I can afford. ?

Yes! Unfortunately, I don’t have as much time as I would like for video games any more 🙁

I’ve watched a few Let’s Play videos, so I have a pretty good idea of what the game is like. Plus, I have nephews that are big fans!

Cool. I can’t wait to see what exclusives the big retailers have in their mid-year sales. Incidentally, Shopforme have a pretty sweet deal today; 20-30% off most sets!
