With the hype for The LEGO Batman Movie reaching fever pitch (91% on Rotten Tomatoes!), LEGO is giving fans yet another reason to part with their hard-earned money with their latest promotion, the Disco Batman / Tears of Batman polybag which has just gone live for Australian, New Zealand and British LEGO fans.
The promotion runs on LEGO’s Online Store from 6 – 26 February (while stocks last!) and you’ll get the promotional polybag when you spend over AU$100/£50/NZ$150 online on any LEGO purchase.
For those in the US, the promotion runs a little later, from 10 – 28 February and you’ll get the promotional polybag when you spend US$75 or more in a single order.
This offer will also be applicable in countries with LEGO Brand Retail stores as well.
I love that the offer applies to ANY LEGO purchase, and doesn’t box you into LEGO Batman Movie purchases.
If you’re planning to make an order, here are some interesting purchases and new items that you can consider adding to your order to hit the threshold.
LEGO Batman Movie Accessories:
- LEGO Batman Movie Batman Mask – AU$14.99 | US$9.99
- LEGO Batman Movie Joker Mask – AU$14.99 | US$9.99

If these don’t tickle your fancy, you can also wait till the 15th of February for the VIP early release of LEGO Brickheadz as well! Of course, you might run the risk of these polybags selling out… but I think it’s pretty safe.
Happy shopping!
Ruben says
Are these gone? 🙁
Ronny says
It’s still there Ruben.
Jay says
Looks like it yeah. If you missed out, I highly recommend getting some on Bricklink!
Amy says
Placed an order, I knew about the polybags but thanks for the heads up on the Batarang and masks. Got them plus a new Batman Movie mug, lunch box set and minifig accessory set. The batarang and minifig set are on back order though 🙁 so a bit of a wait
Jay says
Oh, I didn’t know about the mug! I will have to pick that up too! Yeah, all the cool masks and batarangs are backordered, but I’m in no hurry to receive them 🙂
Warmongurl says
I’m torn! I’d really like the polybag, but I don’t know if I have $75 to spend at the Lego shop. Amazon has had some great sales lately…
apricots says
You can often find the polybags on ebay or bricklink, so maybe try buying it second hand?
Warmongurl says
Good suggestion, but kinda expensive in both spots. Maybe I’ll put an order together after all.
Jay says
Just wait a bit and the price should drop once more flood the market 🙂 They’re being released as promos all over the world, and there seems like there’s no shortage of supply!
Ronny says
Hey Jay,
I can’t seem to locate the batman polybag in the Lego website.
Marsha says
Neither can I. Have they left Australian buyers out yet again?
Jay says
Huh, that’s weird. If you add items that add up to more than $100 to your cart it should show up!
Francois says
Silly question because I’m about to buy for a nephew: can the items be returned to a shop like Myer (since Lego.com is the main provider of Lego content) or even the Lego shop itself if I get the wrong sets?
Ronny says
Hi Franscois,
Yes you can return the item (there is a limit on the days though), you need to ring customer service then they will provide you with a shipping label for you to drop off at your local post office. They will then process your refund or exchange after they’ve received the item(s) that you’ve sent. Hope it helps.
Jay says
Unfortunately no, any sets bought online will have to be returned online. Here’s the Returns Section for more information – https://shop.lego.com/en-AU/Terms-And-Conditions
With returns, I imagine it will be quite expensive to get them shipped back, so be careful when you order!
