New Zealand is getting a LEGO Certified Store in late 2019!

Good news to my Kiwi brethren and those that call the land of the long white cloud home, Auckland is getting a LEGO certified store in late 2019!

Alceon Group, who opened Sydney’s first LEGO Certified Store earlier this year have selected Westfield Newmarket in Auckland as the location for its next ANZ retail expansion.

Let’s be honest, New Zealand has always gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to amazing LEGO experiences (compared to Australia), so this is fantastic news for New Zealanders.

The Auckland flagship store will be a custom-built interactive retail space with exciting features including signature Lego 3D brick models inspired by New Zealand icons.

Official details are pretty scant, but going by the Sydney/Dreamworld store, Kiwis can expect all the trimmings such as the Pick a Brick Wall, a comprehensive selection of LEGO retail sets, and merchandise as well as a world-class LEGO retail experience.

Congratulations New Zealand – what a great surprise just in time for Christmas.
