Love is in the air this week (Valentines Day is this coming Saturday) and there’s nothing I love more than great LEGO sales and bargains. Myer and Target have offers on LEGO, which comes at a pretty opportune time since the first wave of new 2015 sets like City Swamp Police, Chima, Creator LEGO Classic, Friends and a small bunch of Star Wars are starting to show up around the country.
Target (26 February – 1 March)
This totally came out of nowhere but Target has 40% off all Chima sets. This sale even includes the new sets! 40% is outrageous value and it literally doesn’t get better than this.
The sale is also online and some of the bigger sets like the Phoenix Fire Temple have sold out already.
Myer (25 February – 1 March)
It’s only been 3 days since their 20% sale ended, but Myer is intent on moving more toys with a Get 50% off your second toy sale. This sale works out to about 25% off, assuming you buy two similarly priced toys.
This sale is very very timely as new Star Wars sets, LEGO Movie (including the Double Decker Couch!), Bionicle, Friends and Classic are starting to show up on the shelves.
Myer (11 – 22 February)
Myer continues their pedigree of awesome LEGO sales with 20% off LEGO till Sunday, 22 February 2015. 20% off is as good as they come with LEGO sales so if you’re looking to pick up some of the new sets. The sale is both in-store and online, so if you’re having trouble locating a particular set you can check Myer’s website.
Target (Catalogue link 12 – 18 February)
Target bucks the trend with an annoying selected discounted sets offer in their latest catalogue which ends next Tuesday, 18 February. Lucky thing is that their sale prices are slightly better than a 20% sale, by about $1 per set, so it’s a marginal improvement over Myer’s ongoing sale. There’s 20% off DUPLO as well if you’re looking to buy for younger kids. Bolded offers are above the 20% threshold. RRP is based on LEGO.com prices, not retailer specific pricing.
- LEGO 60084 City Racing Bike Transporter – $20 (RRP $30)
- LEGO 60067 City Helicopter Pursuit – $35 (RRP $45)
- LEGO 60074 City Bulldozer – $35 (RRP $45)
- LEGO 60068 City Crook’s Hideout – $63 (RRP $80)
- LEGO 31023 Creator Yellow Racers- $32 (RRP $40)
That’s all the sales that I’m aware of in February, let me know if you spot any other offers!
Anyone know when in march the ulton sets are supposed to hit retail? They are on lego aus shop now
No idea about the exact date. Hopefully not too long now. There are price tags on Kmart shelves, so that’s a good sign.
Thanks Jay! I was able to pick up the Parisian Restaurant at 20% off because of your tip off. Keep up the good work
Wow, that’s an awesome score! Glad I could help!
