Sadly I didn’t buy either of those sets. But hope one day to have the Tree House, if I can find one on eBay LoL
Jay says
Is still hard to find? There was a big restock here in Australia recently, so hopefully the stock issues get sorted out in the UK as well.
Canadian Lego Fan says
I just can’t believe that the treehouse beat Diagon Alley. It makes sense that Pirates of Barracuda bay gets to the finals though.
Jay says
I couldn’t believe it too, but the people have spoken!
Mason says
Is the Tree House set supposed to be from 2019, not 2020? It was released in 2019
Adam says
Yeah, I was really confused why Treehouse was included in the first place. It absolutely shouldn’t be in the final round for best set of 2020, considering it came out in 2019…
David Kessel says
Some of the best sets have fallen away. Not clear what this means.
Andrew says
I think it just means there were many standout sets this year, any one of which could have been the year’s best depending on criteria. I’ve posted before here that for me it’s Barracuda Bay, but that’s partly because of the brilliant build and partly because of what it meant to me personally. I’ve built a few of the other finalists and all are worthy.
This includes the Treehouse, which as Damien said was released in 2019 (I purchased this from Lego S@H in July 2019). This is a great set too, but for me at least, Barracuda Bay pips it.

Its just what happens when you have a tournament bracket, and pit LEGO sets head to head instead of an open vote!

The treehouse is a 2019 set?
