Mech vs Mech! 6862 vs 8080

In my last post, I alluded to a mecha showdown between my newest acquisition, 6862 and one of my recent modern favourites, the majestic 8080 from the underwater theme, Atlantis.

And here we have the two mechs side by side. I must say, the contrast between the colours works very well!

The combatants size each other up, waiting for the jump

8080 makes a swift move to incapacitate 6862, with his giant hand cannon aimed directly at 6862’s cockpit! This could end swiftly!

We see that 8080 isn’t messing around. And is he trying to pry 6862’s pilot out of his cockpit?

This looks bleak for 6862. He’s pinned down severely!

But what is this?! 6862 performs a suprising reversal and has managed to pin down 8080!

What an interesting turn of events!

This doesn’t end well for 8080…

This was fun to set up and shoot. Robots are great. My only regret is that I missed out on all the sublime Exo-Force sets from 5 years ago. All the lovely mechs.
