I’m really stoked to announce the winners of the 2020 Halloween Photography Contest!
Really blown away by the entries, and as always these contests are often so hard to judge thanks to all the fun, creative and inventive entries submitted!
This year’s theme was to take a spooky minifigure photograph based on the sentence:
“THE ONLY THING SCARIER THAN 2020 IS….”
Here are the the winners I’ve selected! Congrats to everyone, and especially thanks to everyone who submitted an entry!
Winner: Elliot’s Zombie Stormtroopers! Congrats, you’ve won a AU$100 LEGO gift card!
1st Runner Up: This entry by Sjoert was both clever, witty and touching, with the only thing scarier than 2020 …. being a parent for the first time!
Consolation Prize 1: I really liked Edward from Melbourne’s entry, which featured a great variety of spooky minifigures out to get Emmet!
Consolation Prize 2: There were so many really cool entries submitted, so I decided to give out another consolation prize, this one to Derek with his aptly titled photo, 2020 Pumpkin Revenge.
I don’t know why, but that giant scary pumpkin is equal parts hilarious and fills me with a sense of horror.
Congratulations to all winners, and thanks again to everyone who entered!
Here are some other entries that I really liked and, would love to feature as well!
Thanks again to everyone who entered! This was really fun and I’ll try and do something similar as we head closer to Christmas!
Congratulations to all winners, I’ll be in touch soon via email!
Apologies that this is late – got caught up with life stuff and have been pretty busy!
