Busy as a bee at the Tesselaar Tulip Festival

I had a fantastic weekend away from everything – a little retreat that my wife and I had planned. I surprised her by bringing her to the Tesselaar Tulip Festival, an annual celebration of tulips hidden away in the Dandenong Ranges.

Like most holidays, I always try to bring some LEGO minifigures along because they make great photo props and when taking photos at minifigure level, you get a whole new perspective of wherever you’re at.

The flowers were absolutely stunning and I had a really great time checking out all the different coloured blooms, with the highlight being a massive field that was just filled with vibrant tulips.

My wife calls the Bumblebee Girl from Series 10, “Beesy” so I guess that’s her official name now!
