A LEGO Lord of the Rings Teaser just dropped, my preciousss

UPDATE: It’s official – check out 10316 Rivendell, a truly epic LEGO Lord of the Rings set!

LEGO has dropped what it likely going to be one of the most incredible product reveals ever, with a sneaky teaser for an upcoming Lord of the Rings set.

A short clip has been posted on LEGO’s social media, with what seems like a Hobbit dropping the One Ring, but if you look a bit closer, you can just make out a reflection of what seems to be a massive Rivendell model.

There’s a large tree and hints of Elvish architecture, so it looks like we have the Council of Elrond in full swing!

LEGO has teased that the full reveal is imminent, so keep an eye out for it tomorrow…

As a longtime LEGO Lord of the Rings fan.. I cannot tell you how happy I am for this reveal, and the fact that after such a long wait, LEGO Lord of the Rings is back!

What are you looking forward to with this reveal? Any must-haves that you’d love to see in this massive set?

But I really would like a set like this; so guess what ?… This AFOL will work a few weeks of overtime again to get a set like this, from one of my favorite movies ever !!!
Absolutely a “must buy” if it at all looks decent after reveal.

Yep, definitely a day 1 buy if it is what it looks like. I was in my dark ages when all the other LOTR/Hobbit sets were released so this will be my first!

I wonder what else TLG has in their pockets.

    • Joe says:

Same for me as far as being in dark ages when original LOTR sets were out. Not sure if this will be day 1 for me, but between this and Indiana Jones, is going to get plenty of my money.

      Same on missing out!

Time to hang another shelf in the office…

  6. Reader says:

Do you know when the set(s) might be released? Or is that coming as part of the full reveal?

  7. Frankie says:

    I. Am. Salivating!! As a fellow massive lord of the rings fan, I will buy this on launch. So excited, I am already contemplating how to best display it.
