Buying Guide: LEGO’s pre-Black Friday VIP Weekend 2022 deals and gift with purchases

LEGO’s VIP Weekend 2022 is almost upon us, promising a weekend full of deals, offers and gifts with purchase ahead of the Black Friday / Cyber Monday weekend. LEGO’s VIP weekend will run from 19-20 November 2022 exclusively on LEGO.com

VIP Weekend has been established to get ahead of the Black Friday shopping madness, and LEGO have prepared an onslaught of deals, offers and even pseudo-discounts to tempt you to open up your wallets.

To help you navigate all the deals and plan your purchases, here’s the ultimate guide to every LEGO VIP Weekend 2022 offer and gift with purchase (GWP)!

Double VIP Points and VIP vouchers

It wouldn’t be a VIP Weekend without a Double VIP Points promotion. Was really hoping that it would be Triple VIP, but this isn’t too bad.

You’ll receive 2X VIP Points for all LEGO purchases on LEGO.com, so if you’ve been waiting for a big ticket item like 76210 Hulkbuster or if there’s a set on the Retiring Soon list, Double VIP Points is as good as any time to pick up big purchases.

Additionally, if you head over to the LEGO VIP Reward Center, you’ll find these vouchers that you can redeem for 100 VIP points to take a not insignificant amount of the following sets

• 42143 Ferrari Daytona SP3 – $150 off
• 10306 Atari 2600 – $45 off
• 76405 Hogwarts Express – $160 off
• 10303 Loop Coaster – $120 off
• 10304 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 – $50 off

If these set are on your wishlist, it’s a really decent discount, and you can of course also benefit from 2X VIP Points and the following GWPs.

Important note: You can only redeem the vouchers from 15-20 November and you’ll need to purchase and use the sets by 28 November 2022.

Update 2: It seems like the Ferrari Daytona SP3 VIP voucher isn’t available in the US.

LEGO VIP Weekend 2022 Gifts with Purchase (GWPs)

40563 Tribute to the LEGO House

The big GWP for VIP Weekend will be 40563 Tribute to LEGO House which will be a gift with purchase (GWP) and will be available from LEGO.com when you spend US$250 / AU$309 / €250 / £250.

LEGO VIPs will get exclusive access to the GWP from 19-20 November, before a wider release from 25-28 November 2022.

40564 Winter Elves Scene

The first Christmas/Winter-themed GWP of 2022 will also be available during VIP Weekend with 40564 Winter Elves Scene, which will be a free gift when you spend US$170 / AU$259 / £170 / €170 on LEGO.com from 19-20 November 2022.

It’s a really short redemption period, which seems odd for a Winter/Christmas GWP, but I expect it to make a return again, maybe in December if it doesn’t fully sell out.

5007685 LEGO Baking Set

As a special bonus for LEGO VIP members (free to sign up), you’ll also receive 5007685 LEGO Baking Set, which features silicon baking moulds when you spend US$65 / AU$139 / £65, rounding out the trio of VIP Weekend 2022 GWPs.

You’ll need to purchase sets from City, DUPLO, Friends, Creator3-1, DOTS, Ninjago, Classic to qualify for this.

Exclusive VIP Rewards

New LEGO VIP rewards are also due to drop in the VIP Reward Centre, and most interesting of them all is the Bricktober 2022 Dragon Adventure Ride set, which you can redeem for 2, 400 VIP Points, and a numbered Black Panther VIP Print for 3,400 VIP points.

Looking ahead to Black Friday 2022

Of course, you’ll also need to look and plan ahead for the Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend, which has the launch of the highly anticipated 10307 Eiffel Tower, the tallest LEGO set yet.

10307 Eiffel Tower will be released on Black Friday, 25 November 2022, and will also come with an exclusive 40579 Eiffel’s Apartment GWP.

If you can wait and make do without Double VIP points, you can order the Eiffel Tower, and qualify for the Eiffel’s Apartment GWP and 40563 Tribute to LEGO House, as well as any other bonuses not revealed yet.
