First look at LEGO Mickey & Friends and Friends Summer 2021 sets!

Thanks to Dutch store Van Der Meulen, we have a very early look at the upcoming LEGO Disney Mickey & Friends theme, a new sub-theme featuring everyone’s favourite cartoon Mouse aimed at younger kids!

Update: Two new sets, Mickey’s Propeller Plane and Minnie Mouse’s Ice Cream Shop have now been added thanks to Dutch retailer Ottosimon. Check them out below!

This is huge for LEGO Disney fans as this is the first time we get fairly inexpensive non Disney Castle/Collectible Minifigures Series featuring Mickey & Friends.

The new LEGO Disney Mickey & Friends sets will be released on 1 June in Asia Pacific and Europe, and on 1 August in North and South America.

These sets will be available from LEGO.com, LEGO Stores, and most toy stores that carry LEGO.

10776 Mickey and Friends Fire Truck and Station

I’m most excited about 10776 Mickey and Friends Fire Truck and Station which not only features Goofy (which means I won’t need to pay a ton for him on Bricklink or buy the Disney Train Station) but most importantly, introduces Pluto which has been sorely missing from the LEGO Disney minifigures lineup.

I also love that Mickey and Minnie have these cute firefighter and astronaut outfits.

10774 Mickey Mouse’s and Minnie Mouse’s Space Rocket

Looking at the box art of 10774 Mickey Mouse’s and Minnie Mouse’s Space Rocket – Donald and Daisy Duck featured prominently on the box, suggesting that there’s more characters to come with this theme.

New LEGO Friends Summer 2021

We also get a preview of the upcoming 2HY Friends wave, which features an eclectic mix of Camping/Outdoors sets, a revamped Heartlake Grand Hotel and a Roller Coaster!

Love that we also get a new Raccoon animal!
