First look at the new 2023 LEGO Hallmark Keepsake Christmas Tree ornaments!

It’s only April, but it’s never too late to start thinking about Christmas ornaments! Hallmark has its 2023 LEGO Hallmark Keepsake collection, with three new Christmas Ornaments to look forward to.

This year, we have a Gingerbread Woman, a double The Mandalorian and Grogu pack, as well as Harry Potter in his Quidditch Seeker uniform.

According to the Hallmark website, the Gingerbread Woman has a release date of 15 July 2023, whereas Harry Potter and The Mandalorian & Grogu will be available from 14 October 2023.

They’re now available to order via Amazon.com.

Please consider using these affiliate links if you are planning to pick these LEGO Hallmark Keepsake ornaments up. I may receive a small commission with each purchase.

Unfortunately, there seems to be a bit of a price-hike this year for the licensed minifigures. The Mandalorian and Grogu being US$24.99 isn’t that bad of a deal as you’re essentially getting two ornaments, but it’s a bummer that there seems to no longer be any standardised prices.

Check out my review of the 2022 LEGO Hallmark Keepsake Collection for a closer look at last year’s ornaments which included a Blue Classic Space Astronaut,  BB-8, Harry Potter and a Yeti.

I’m a big fan of the LEGO Hallmark Keepsake collection, so I’ll definitely be looking forward to picking the 2023 collection up, but it doesn’t seem as strong of a lineup as previous year’s.

I do like the Gingerbread Woman, which will be a nice companion to the Gingerbread Man from 2020, and I like the pairing of Grogu and Mandalorian, although I would’ve preferred it if they had their Christmas outfits from the 2021 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar.

Harry looks really nice in motion on his Quidditch broom and in his Quidditch uniform, but it would’ve been nice to get Hermione or Ron instead.

Also, it’s a shame that we didn’t get a continuation to last year’s Classic Blue Astronaut… it would’ve been nice to get a Pirate, or Knight to continue the trend of classic characters, but it may have been a special year because of LEGO’s 90th Anniversary.

Thanks to Bricksfanz for the tip-off!

What do you think of the 2023 LEGO Hallmark Keepsake collection? Will you plan on picking up any?

I do collect certain series of Halmark ornaments including wars and trek but I will give these a pass.

I much prefer to use the actual Keychain Minifigs as ornaments. Mind it’s a small tree.🎄

I do miss the mini-build ornaments of years past compared to the big heavy clunky ones we have gotten in recent years.

Hmmm – I’m a little disappointed. In the past few years there were two options outside the licensed ornaments and I usually end up buying both. I’m not a Star Wars or Harry Potter fan … And the Gingerbread Woman is sort of a retread of the Gingerbread Man from 2020. There are so many other options, including four from the Series 23 minifigs – the nutcracker, sugarplum fairy, reindeer costume and snow person. And then there are the classic minifigs – Captain Roger would be awesome, as one example … Oh well, I’ll still buy the Gingerbread Woman …

I take it this is late April joke? They cannot possibly mean those prices for just 2 minifigures with a hook stuck in the head. :O

  4. Patricia says:

I love them. I wish I had the opportunity to get those. Unfortunately there are not available in my country and to get them from anywhere else takes huge import prizes nowadays.

  5. Why does Mando’s torso design look so wobbly and messy??
