LEGO have officially given unveiled and given us our first look at an upcoming LEGO Art set – 31206 The Rolling Stones, a new addition to LEGO’s Art theme!

The iconic Tongue and Lips logo, is one of the most iconic, and well-known logos in pop culture/music, designed by John Pasche, and now, you can build a 1,998-piece one out of LEGO to hang on your walls.

The LEGO Rolling Stones Art set will be available from LEGO.com retail for US$149.99 / AU$229.99, with a release date of 1 June 2022 in the UK/Europe, 1 July 2022 in Australia, and 1 August 2022 in North America.

See below for regional links, pricing and release dates:

The LEGO Rolling Stones Art set is a really interesting, and fresh new direction for LEGO’s Art theme – breaking out of the square frame, and giving us a really cool, silhouette of the iconic tongue and lips.

Zooming in, you’ll also notice that LEGO Art moves away from the usual studs and tiles, incorporating a diverse bunch of elements to give it a raised, almost 3D-like appearance.

The lifestyle photo supplied gives you a really good idea of what it’ll look like, hanging on the wall, and really elevates the concept of LEGO Art away from the pixelated mosaic style, to more buildable pieces like this.

It’s also quite massive, and with the vibrant red lips and tongue, will sure to make a statement on your wall. Big plus if you’re a fan of music and The Rolling Stones, so hopefully you’ll get some Satisfaction from this set.

Wow! I love the look of this, hopefully will lead to more 3D band icons/logos… KISS, AC/DC, or do I dare to dream of a 3D Iron Maiden “Eddie” art piece!

  2. Ian Hazlehurst says:

Not a Stones fan, but wow the 3D effect is cool.
