Australia’s premier LEGO event (and my hometown LEGO fan convention) Brickvention is back for 2023, with public exhibition days running from 21-22 January 2023!
It’s back in its original home, Melbourne’s Royal Exhibition Building and tickets are available to be purchased online via the Brickvention website.
In case you missed last year’s, Brickvention has also had a status upgrade, and is now an AFOL Networking Event (ANE), putting it on par with huge global conventions like Skaerbaek Fan Weekend.
With things in Australia almost back to normal, this will be an exciting one for Victorian LEGO fans, as it’ll be the first Brickvention without many strict public health measures in place, so it’ll be an awesome time to check out awesome LEGO fan builds, as well as reconnect with other LEGO fans!
Ticket prices:
- Adults $25.00*
- Children $15.00 (4 – 15 years of age)*
- Children 3 years and under – free
Additionally, there will be a special needs session on Sunday, 22 January 2022 @ 9:00am, designed to cater for those with special needs including those impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders. The session environment includes low volume and less frequent announcements and fewer people.
These are the session times for Saturday and Sunday, and as you can see some of the early slots have begun to fill up and sell out, so don’t miss out!

This post has reminded me… Anybody have any idea what happened to the Sydney Brick Show?

It moved to Olympic Park on mother’s day in 2022.
