LEGO.com has revealed a brand new Star Wars Brickheadz set, 40623 Battle of Endor Heroes which features 5 iconic characters from Return of the Jedi!
It’s a big year for LEGO Star Wars as Return of the Jedi celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, and this supersized Brickheadz set commemorates the anniversary by giving us a Return of the Jedi Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Lando Calrissian, Wicket and Princess Leia in her Endor fatigues.
40623 Battle of Endor Heroes will be released on 1 May 2023 from LEGO.com, and will be available early at Star Wars Celebration.

For Brickheadz fans, this looks to be a really great Star Wars and ROTJ-themed pack, with plenty of printed elements on all characters, even Lando’s moustache!
R2-D2 does look a little strange – I’m not sure if it’s because the squarish Brickheadz form doesn’t translate well, or the singular Brickheadz eye, but it’s definitely the oddest looking of the bunch.
Keep an eye out on 40623 Battle of Endor Heroes and start saving up for May the 4th, where you know LEGO are going to go all out, especially with this year being the 40th Anniversary of Return of the Jedi!

While printed elements are always nice, I think a brick built version of Luke’s shirt opening to reveal white beneath could have looked real sharp!
No gripes on the rest of the designs though.
