LEGO have revealed their latest addition to the LEGO Art theme, with 31205 Jim Lee Batman Collection, an exclusive collaboration with legendary artist and Chief Creative Office of DC Comics Jim Lee.
This 4,167 LEGO Art set allows you to create 1 of 3 portraits of some of the most iconic Batman characters – the Dark Knight himself, as well as Joker and Harley Quinn.
The LEGO Batman Art Collection is priced at US$119.99 / AU$179.99 / £104.99, and has a release date of 1 March 2022. If you’re in the United States, you can pre-order the set now from LEGO.com.
The mosaics are seriously cool, and I love that this is a Jim Lee product as well, and the illustrations are just jaw-dropping. LEGO have previously taken on Marvel’s Iron Man, and Star Wars, so I’m glad that they’re finally opening this up to DC Comics as well.
If you buy 2 sets, you can even combine them to create larger mosaics, like the one with Catwoman, or the full-length Batman version.
I’m a big fan of the LEGO Art theme, as they make for really cool looking pieces of brick-built decor at home, and can really spruce up your living space or office.
Its great to see LEGO finally give DC some love, and I expect these to be really well-received by Batman fans. I know I’m going to get maybe one or two to have Joker and Batman side by side.
What do you think of the LEGO Batman Art collection? Will you be hanging these up on your walls?
LEGO Art 31205 Jim Lee Batman Collection will retail for US$119.99 / AU$179.99 / £104.99, and will be available on 1 March 2022 from LEGO.com.

I created BrickPix (https://brickpix.app), which lets you turn your pictures into beautiful mosaic art made from Lego® bricks. You may have seen other similar apps that do this, but BrickPix is different and has a number of unique features. For example, you can preview a 3D model of your creation and zoom in/out and rotate it in any direction. It’s available for Android, iOS, or the web. Please check it out.You can also check out some sample projects create with BrickPix on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brickpixapp

If LEGO are producing Jim Lee-designed sets.. I’d LOVE a Wonder Woman mosaic.

Looks kinda cool, but not my thing. I would much prefer the Lego Batman Movie characters.

Yes! If they did Lego Batman Art, instant buy for me.
Corey McCandless says
Do you really only need 2 for the full length Batman design? There wouldn’t be enough baseplates.

Apparently, you can use 2 or 3 kits. From Lego website:
“Celebrate your passion – To stretch your creativity further, combine 2 or 3 of the sets to create 1 of 2 Batman™ inspired wall art pieces to display in your home or office.”
I don’t see the 2 examples of using such. Unless I`m totally misreading the statement above.

I’m not sure if this is what you meant, but I think they mean:
You can combine 2 of the sets to create 1 of the larger sets, the one with Catwoman, or 3 of the sets to create the other one, the large Batman.
Hope that clarifies it if there was confusion 🙂

Yeah, looking at the colour spread of the large Batman, you’d definitely need Harley for the reds of the clouds and a lot of the grey dots from Joker. I don’t think you’d be able to do it with just 2.

Not really a fan of the Art kits, but this is cool, especially as you only need 2 kits to do the larger version.
Might consider if funds allow.
