LEGO Avatar 75574 Toruk Makto & Tree of Souls officially revealed at LEGO CON 2022

After weeks of teasing, and a premature leak, we finally have an official look at the LEGO Avatar theme at LEGO CON 2022!

LEGO have unveiled one set from the upcoming theme, which ties into the Avatar: The Way of the Water movie which premieres in cinemas in December 2022.

75574 Toruk Makto & Tree of Souls was unveiled today, and will retail for US$149.99 / €149.99, and has a release date of 1 October 2022, and can be pre-ordered now on LEGO.com

This 1212-piece set features the new Avatar minifigures, which utilise the long legs that we first saw on Woody from Toy Story.

The Toruk looks really cool.

Join Jake Sully, Neytiri, Mo’at and Tsu’Tey at the Tree of Souls! This LEGO® Avatar set reflects the scene where Jake joins with the majestic Toruk and becomes the 6^th Toruk Makto. Dive into the intense effort to defend the important landmark of the Na’vi people, flying on the Toruk or riding the fierce Direhorse. Let the roots of the tree wrap around you and join the rest of the Na’vi as they commune together!

The set includes a Direhorse (the blue horse), a Toruk (large bird beast), and comes with Mo’at, Neytiri, Jake Sully, and Tsu’tey minifigures.

It looks cool, I like the tree, but I don’t know how I feel about the Avatar minifigures. They’re okay I guess, but this isn’t a license or property that I’m especially excited about. I’ll definitely need a closer look at the set when it’s closer to launch to make my mind up!
