LEGO Hagrid and Buckbeak Brickheadz GWP offer now live!

September 1, 2020 By Jay 5 Comments

It’s the first of September, which means that you get your hands on the incredible Diagon Alley set that was unveiled yesterday.

Check out my first impressions post to see what I think.

As an added bonus for LEGO Harry Potter fans, the exclusive Hagrid and Buckbeak Brickheadz is now available as a gift with purchase.

To qualify for one, you’ll need to spend AU$199 / £100 / US$100 on any LEGO Harry Potter set from 1 – 15 September 2020.

This a global promotion, and is already live in the United Kingdom, and will soon be up for the US as well.

This is an exclusive Brickheadz set, which means you can’t just buy it on its own, which is a little irritating especially if you collect Brickheadz and can’t afford to drop a significant amount of cash on a Harry Potter set right now.

In addition to this offer, don’t forget that the Razor Crest officially goes on sale as well. Unfortunately, it’s temporarily out of stock in Australia, but be sure to follow my Facebook page for alerts when it restocks.

I’ve just made a €150+ order at 7am Irish time and no GWP. Surely they’re not out already? 🙁

Oh no, if it didn’t show up in your cart, it may have been sold out. They the gift with purchase sold out in Australia some time yesterday afternoon too, so I’m guessing there are limited numbers of these!

You know what, I read the *small print*. You had to have purchase only HP sets, not just any sets over €100. Doh!

Tah mate, I’m never quick enough to get the Harry Potter GWPs! But today, I was lucky! Picked up the Burrow and Privet Drive.

One of the rarest LEGO Architecture sets - 21021 M One of the rarest LEGO Architecture sets - 21021 Marina Bay Sands! 🇸🇬

Singapore celebrates their National Day on 9 August, and to mark the occasion, I've dug into my vault to showcase the Marina Bay Sands, one of Singapore's contemporary architectural landmarks!

Released in 2014, it's notorious for being one of the most sought-after Architecture sets, because only 10,000 copies were made.

To make matters worse, they sold exclusively in Asia in countries like Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, and the Marina Bay Sands gift shop!

Thankfully, LEGO released a newer 21057 Singapore Skyline earlier this year which also includes the Marina Bay Sands, but this is a relic from an era where LEGO had regional exclusives in their portfolio.

Happy National Day, Singapore!
