LEGO Halloween 2020 Minifigure Photography Contest – win some spooky prizes!

October 17, 2020 By Jay 14 Comments

Halloween is coming up, which means, it’s time to celebrate with a photography contest!

To win some awesome LEGO prizes, all you have to do is take a spooky-themed minifigure photo, with your best interpretation of the following:

“The only thing scarier than 2020 is….”

Feel free to mix things up, create a scene/diorama, and be as creative as you can be with your minifigures and their costumes!

To enter, email your entry to jaysbrickblog@gmail.com with the subject title “Halloween 2020” and be sure to include your name & location in the message.

The contest is open globally, but if your country doesn’t have a LEGO.com, or Amazon, I might have to find alternative ways to get you your prizes.

One entry per household!

The contest is open worldwide and entries close at 11.59pm AEST on Sunday, 25 October 2020 with the winners announced the following day!

Here’s the prizes up for grabs!

1st Prize – a US$75/£50/AU$100 (or equivalent in your local currency) LEGO.com e-gift card (or I’m Rick James Bricks for Australia)

2nd Prize – a US$50 (or equivalent in your local currency) LEGO Hidden Side set of your choice.

Consolation Prize – a set of Halloween 2020 Minifigures

Looking forward to the entries, so be as creative and fun as possible!

Hey Jay, super exited for this! I was just wondering who gets the consolation prize? Is it third, fourth, and fifth place, or something else?

You can be creative and mix and match! They don’t necessarily have to be “scary”, hence the open-ended theme!

Raising the next generation of @lego Castle fans 🏰

Nothing makes me happier than seeing @little.ongs play with 10305 Lion Knights' Castle, which I've conveniently left in an easy to access spot in the house.

While yes, this set is big and meant for adults, the playability and story-telling is so native to kids that it's a great set to share with your kids if you have any.

👑 Having THE definitive LEGO Castle being ruled by Queen Lionne also sends a great message to little girls and a fantastic celebration of #lego90years

10305 Lion Knights' Castle launches today for VIPs and if you're lucky enough to be in the position to pick one up, I hope you enjoy and savour every moment of the build of what is quite possibly my favourite set of 2022.
