LEGO officially reveals two more Disney 100 sets, including 43221 100 Years of Disney Animation Icons

LEGO and Disney continue to unleash an absolute torrent of Disney 100 sets, celebrating Disney’s 100th Anniversary with 2 more sets officially revealed, 43221 100 Years of Disney Animation Icons and 43215 The Enchanted Treehouse.

43215 The Enchanted Treehouse (aka the LEGO Disney Princess Battle Pack) was revealed previously by LEGO South Korea, but now we have confirmed details of pricing and a release date of 1 June 2023. This collection of 13 Princess Minidolls that includes Mulan, Raya, Elsa, Moana, Tinker Bell, Alice, Wendy, Belle, Tiana, Anna, Pocahontas, Princess Jasmine and Mirabel will be priced at an eye-watering US$159.99 / AU$259.99.

For fans who are more design-inclined, there’s also 43221 100 Years of Disney Animation Icons, which features 72 icons that you can choose to build, 12 of which can be built at once. Great to see the spirit of LEGO Dots continues to live on!

An exclusive artist LEGO Mickey Mouse is included in the set, so LEGO Disney fans and completionists should add this to your wishlist.

43221 100 Years of Disney Animation Icons (1,022 pieces)

Price: US$59.99 / AU$89.99 / £49.99 / €54.99 / CAD$79.99

Here’s a closer look at some of the Icons you can build, which range from iconic characters silhouettes like Snow White, to Disney items like the Magic Lamp from Aladdin, Snow White’s poisoned apple.

If you’re wondering what the middle one on the bottom row is, it’s a reference to 1963’s Sword in the Stone!

43215 The Enchanted Treehouse (1,016 pieces)

US$159.99 / AU$259.99 / £149.99 / €169.99 / CAD$209.99

If you can stomach the eye-watering price, this is an excellent LEGO Disney Princess Battle Pack, with 13 minidolls in one extremely LEGO Elves-inspired design!

What do you think of these 2 sets?

I broke mum. Until last week, she hated “girls” lego. Was one of those people who decided she didn’t like mini dolls, without even having one. From having opened some of the better friends sets and left near her personal space.. she saw this set and was independently very excited. One day our daughter will be so pleased.

Meanwhile.. after buying every good friends set over the last few waves (pre branding change and staying there), i realised no actually i don’t know what i was thinking and girls lego isn’t for me or my collection. Go figure 🙂 Just put it down to the “backbuying new theme” casualty.

Ouch! That “Princess Battle Pack” is ridiculously priced!

Clearly a lot of that cost must be tied up in licences, but the actual buildable aspect of the set looks pretty minimal.

A more cost effective way to get lots of Princess minidolls is through the Lego Disney Princess magazine, where there’s a minidoll every 2/3 issues.
