It’s the first of March, which means the long-awaited LEGO Trains 40th Anniversary gift with purchase is now available in Australia!
To qualify for this amazing nostalgic set, you’ll have to spend AU$199 / US$99 / €99 / £99 on LEGO.com from 1 – 15 March while stocks last.
We just ticked over to the 1st of March in Australia, so if you live in the UK or the US, you’ll have to wait a little bit.
I’m very disappointed by the very high threshold of the Australian LEGO Shop – $200 is a large sum, and you’ll most likely have to fill your cart with a few things to hit that threshold.
Hopefully you have a few sets on your wishlist to make $200.
In case you missed it, the LEGO Fiat 500 announced yesterday is now available, which should get you more than halfway, and so are the new LEGO Dots kits.
Let me know what you think of the extremely Australian gift with purchase threshold compared to the rest of the world!

I love the look at the set, but the threshold is way too high. Our price disparity is (mostly) better these days, but these thresholds still seem way too high.
