LEGO VIP Weekend is now on – Double VIP points, free Christmas Gift & free shipping

November 17, 2018 By Jay 6 Comments

Eager to get their hands on your money before the upcoming Black Friday/Cyber Monday onslaught, LEGO Australia has kicked off a special VIP Weekend with a raft of tempting orders that include:

  • Double VIP points
  • Free LEGO 40292 Christmas Gift set with purchases over $139
  • Free Shipping on All Orders

The sale is only active this weekend and ends at 11.59pm on Sunday, 18 November.

The free LEGO Christmas Gift set was a bit of a surprise as the promo was originally supposed to go live on 22 November, but LEGO has decided to reward VIP members this weekend by opening up access to them early.

Do note that you’ll have to check out your cart to see the gift pop in. With how quickly Diagon Alley ran out, I wouldn’t hesitate if I were you, although I think that LEGO has more stock of these, seeing as how they’ve decided to roll this one out earlier.

The deals are pretty substantial, so if you’re waiting on a good reason to hop online to buy, this is a good a reason as any.

At the end of the day, it’s up to you on when you choose to pull the trigger to get the LEGO Christmas Gift promo set. See above for Black Friday / Cyber Monday offers, where they’re discounting certain sets by 30% off.

The Mini Cooper and App-Controlled Batmobile are both very tempting personally, and I’m most likely going to wait till then.

If nothing on Black Friday strikes your fancy, I’d just buy whatever you need this weekend as Double VIP and the free promo set is reason enough to order from LEGO.com.

Let me know in the comments if you picked anything up or are waiting till Black Friday!

I placed my order at 8am! I have been waiting very impatiently for the right time to purchase the winter village fire station so was thrilled that I don’t have to wait another week! It is a nice surprise that shipping is free too. I hope they do that special fairly often!

I also made the arduous drive across town to Chadstone this morning to get the Christmas Carousel set – free with purchases over $100. S@H will surely be offering this as a GWP next month… but can’t be 100% sure of that.

Now all I am after is the little girl penguin minifigure… not sure where and when she will turn up. Then my winter village additions will be complete for this year!

So good! I missed out on the Carousel at Chadstone – I believe there’ll be a restock soon.

Hopefully we’ll see the Penguin minifigure in the coming weeks!

We’ve had a really good run of promo sets from LEGO!

My son has been saving all year for the roller coaster and we’ve finally ordered it this morning. Double points plus the Christmas gift was too good an offer to pass up!

Congratulations! I’m halfway building it and totally love it. He’s going to be the best Christmas ever!

Ooh this is great! Can someone recommend me a set which is hard to find/exclusive to S@H which would usually fall under the free shipping limit?

The one set I can think of (Boba Fett Brickheadz) is out of stock 🙁

Sorry for the late reply! Did you manage to buy anything? LEGO.com had troubles keeping a lot of exclusives/hard to find sets in stock.
