New 2022 LEGO Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi sets revealed – pre-orders open now!

May 26, 2022 By Jay Ong 4 Comments

Hello there! It’s almost time for the highly anticipated new Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi series, and as part of Obi-Wan Wednesdays (fancy marketing thing to unveil new Star Wars toys), LEGO have officially unveiled three new exciting LEGO Star Wars sets which will make a fine addition to any collection.

Excitingly for Star Wars fans, apart from having Obi-Wan Kenobi back in the spotlight, we’re also getting the first ever Taun We Minifigure, as well as a trio of Inquisitors – Grand Inquisitor, Reva (Third Sister Inquisitor) and Fifth Brother Inquisitor.

Ahead of the release date of 1 August 2022, you can pre-order all 3 sets from LEGO.com. See below for individual product links.

  • 75333 Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi Starfighter 282 pieces – US$29.99 / AU$49.99 / £29.99
  • 75336 Inquisitor Transport Scythe 924 pieces – US$99.99 / AU$159.99 / £89.99
  • 40547 Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader Brickheadz 269 pieces – US$19.99 / AU$29.99 / £17.99

If you pre-order before the 30th of May and spend over US$160/US$90, you’ll also qualify for the May gift with purchases (GWPs) –  40533 Cosmic Cardboard Adventures and 40529 Children’s Amusement Park in the US.

Check out more product shots below:

75333 Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi Starfighter – 282 pieces

All aboard Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi Starfighter, inspired by its appearance in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones! With Obi-Wan in the cockpit and his trusty astromech droid R4-P17 on the wing, travel to Kamino™, beyond the Outer Rim. Fire the stud shooters at any enemy starships that get in your way. Land on the water world of Kamino to be greeted by Taun We. Your meeting could change the course of the Clone Wars™

Pre-order from LEGO.com

75336 Inquisitor Transport Scythe – 924 pieces

Construct and play out the dark side of the Force with The Inquisitor Transport Scythe! Reva, the Grand Inquisitor and the Fifth Brother are on board for a sinister mission. Flip down the wings for flight mode and fire the spring-loaded shooters. On landing, lower the ramp and prepare for battle. Can Obi-Wan Kenobi elude the Inquisitors with their double-bladed lightsabers? This set is inspired by the new Star Wars series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, streaming exclusively on Disney+ starting May 27.

Pre-order from LEGO.com

40547 Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader Brickheadz

Fans can relive dramatic scenes from the Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi as they build LEGO® BrickHeadz™ versions of iconic characters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader – the Force is strong with this duo!  The products capture authentic details including Darth Vader’s red eyes and a lightsaber for each buildable LEGO® brick figure, plus baseplates for display. This creative building toy is suitable for ages 10 and up and would make an awesome addition to any Star Wars™ fan’s collection.

Boo. I have his starfighter but not Taun We, won’t but it for one minifigure. Likewise, inquisition transport has cool minifigures but ship itself seems clunky. Maybe seeing it in the show will change my mind. Thanks for the preview. I still dream of a minfigure star wars series though I understand that is impossible with the current licensing where they are only in sets.

Oh man, I want them all. Sadly I am out of space. No more Lego’s for me for awhile. Well except the Count down ones. Maybe they will be around for awhile, doubt it.

Did you know that Fiona, the @lego Friends florist Did you know that Fiona, the @lego Friends florist is one of the first minidolls depicted with Down Syndrome?

Fiona works at the flower stall on Unity Street from 41732 Friends Downtown Flower and Design Stores

She is described as being 'good at crafts and decorating, and knows all the flower species by name.'

It's World Down Syndrome Day today and I think it's remarkable and very important for LEGO to enhance the perspectives of children on neurodiversity, physical disabilities, ethnicity and mental health, as they've done with the LEGO Friends reboot.

Here's my review of one of the most anticipate @LE Here's my review of one of the most anticipate @LEGO Disney sets - 43217 'Up' House ahead of its release on 1 April 2023!

This set is a dream come true for many Pixar fans, and we finally get a cute, compact and great looking Up House.

It has plenty of references to the movie, and Carl's everlasting love of Ellie, his late-wife which will absolutely delight fans.

Despite a strong lineup of minifigures (including an awesome Dug mould), the set's incredibly expensive pricetag (US$59.99/AU$89.99) doesn't feel like good value, especially with Kevin nowhere to be found.

Here's a look at 40587 Easter Basket, an incredibl Here's a look at 40587 Easter Basket, an incredibly affordable and attainable GWP that's available from 16 March!

It will be a GWP when you spend US$70 / €70 / £65 from 16 March - 9 April.

Lots of things to like here, as the design is cute, and the build is surprisingly technical, and it blends both Botanical and Animal construction.

Also like that the redemption period stretches into April, so if you have the Indiana Jones, Disney 100, or Guardians of the Galaxy sets on your radar, it should be an easy one to qualify for!

Such a breath of fresh air to get such a substantial GWP without having to spend hundreds of dollars. More like this please, LEGO!
