Already nabbed up this set. Can’t wait for it to come on Wednesday… the day of Joe Biden’s inauguration…. 🙁
Might resell it. I would have bought it with your affiliate link, but didn’t know about this blog in time.

It looks like an amazing set. Is it just me or did we loose out on the exchange rate? $299 USD is approx 385 AUD… No where near 499 :c

Yeah I suspect this one was priced before the recent spike in the $A. Also I believe the US price wouldn’t include Federal or State tax, whilst our includes the GST, so not as big a disparity as it might seem

That said though, is is more out of kilter than many recent sets, so it *should* mean some discounts if it finds its way into stores (the original Ninjago City was a TRU exclusive, just about the time they went belly-up, so it was hard to find).

It’s not just you! I stayed up as well, and it doesn’t seem to be loaded onto the website, so best to get some sleep and try again tomorrow morning.

I’ll keep one. Haven’t made up my mind on the other. Might surprise one of my nieces/nephews on their birthday.

Oh wow. I thought my big purchase for 2021 would be the next modular. Now I have to find more money as this is a must have. Thanks Jay for the heads up as I hadn’t seen this coming!!! Nothing on the lego VIP sites yet!!!

Oh well, the New Year’s Resolution not to cover any more new Lego sets looks like it lasted 13 days. At least that’s longer than last year. If this is half as good as Ninjago City it’s a definite must-have.

It looks good with all 3 together, I don’t have the city docks, though. Definitely getting this one, desperately trying to convince my partner to get this for me.

Yeah, I love how busy and hectic it looks – which convey a very different feeling to the relatively peaceful modular street!

Lol! Is it wise to draw down the mortgage to “invest” in Lego? 😆😆😆
