You’ll receive 2x VIP points on all purchases on LEGO.com from 10 – 16 February, which conveniently ends after the 40581 BIONICLE Tahu and Takua promotion.
It’s a great time to bank up your LEGO VIP Points, especially if you’ve recently depleted your supply to redeem new rewards like 40585 World of Wonders, or if you’ve been holding off on some of the new February releases like the 21338 A-Frame Cabin or 10313 Wildflower Bouquet and 10314 Dried Flower Centrepiece.

40582 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue GWP
A new LEGO City gift with purchase GWP has also been spotted on LEGO.com – 40582 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue, which looks to be quite a substantial LEGO GWP, with 162-pieces and 3 minifigures.
It expands upon the range of LEGO City emergency vehicles, and while there are no details yet, there’s a very high chance that its release could coincide with Double VIP Points, so keep an eye out for more details of it!
Being a LEGO City set, I hope the purchase threshold won’t be too high or restrictive, and that it will stack with the upcoming Double VIP Promotion.

Can you get the GWP 2x with 2 separate transactions that equal the qualifying price under your account for double points?
Yup! Just run them through different orders and you should be fine
That explains why the Lego shop is out of stock on any of the big decent sets and only have the smaller sets that are cheaper elsewhere available.
Also probably cause lots of people were going nuts over the gift with purchases recently..
Hmm, few sets I’m interested in, currently. And many non-exclusive sets are a lot cheaper outside Lego.com.
Will the 2xVIP points drive be valid for onlne Pick-A-Brick orders, or Lego Shop PAB walls or BAM minifigs?
Yup, any purchase online or in-store will qualify for 2x VIP 🙂
Been eyeing the Ninjago City Garden but now the LORT set has been teased, wonder if I should ignore double point to save some money for that instead.
Also, does this mean we aren’t getting that moving truck that I saw somewhere as GWP?
I would prioritise City Gardens if that is on your list, as it’s likely closer to retirement.
LOTR will be here for a long time, so there should be plenty of time to save for it.
