Sebastian Vettel rocks this awesome LEGO-themed helmet for the 2022 Hungarian Grand Prix

Four-time F1 champion Sebastian Vettel, who drives for Aston Martin F1 has unveiled his helmet design for this weekend’s Hungarian GP, and it’s an awesome LEGO-themed helmet!

The design (and photos) are courtesy of JMD Helmets, who supply many of Seb’s fantastic helmet designs, and this blocky design features his native German flag colours, the flag of Ukraine, a message of “let the children play”, as well as a cute Sebastian Vettel minifigure on the back.

It’s a really clean design, with a great message, and I really like the how well it turned out, as well as the Ukrainian flag strip.

Sebastian Vettel (and other F1 drivers) often uses their helmet designs to send strong messages, and this one’s particularly great with the “let the children play” message.

This isn’t Seb’s first LEGO helmet, as he was also rocking this JMD helmet for the Spanish GP in 2019, which also featured a little Vettel minifigure, in a Ferrari suit.

This is Seb’s last season in Formula 1, after he sensationally announced his retirement on Instagram, so I’m glad that he’s able to display his love for LEGO one more time before the curtain closes on his great F1 career.

Tomorrow is 1 August, which means a whole bunch of LEGO sets get releases. Be sure to check out my shopping guide to all the new August 2022 releases!
