Six new LEGO Adidas ZX 8000 sneaker colourways coming early 2021!

Can’t get enough of the LEGO and Adidas collaboration? Did you miss out on last year’s limited-edition LEGO ZX 8000 sneaker?

Well you’re in luck because we have SIX new colourways in the same Adidas ZX 8000 silhouette coming soon, thanks to a reveal by Sneakerbar Detroit.

The release date for the 2021 LEGO Adidas Color Pack is March 2021.

This new LEGO Adidas Colour Pack will contain six new colours: Black (FY7085), Royal Blue (FY7083), Green (FY7082), Red (FY7084), Yellow (FY7081), Ash Grey (FY7080), and they will likely retail for the same price as the original ZX 8000 – at US$130.

Like the original the LEGO Adidas ZX 8000 Colour Pack sneakers will have cool little details such as the LEGO logo on the tongue, miniature LEGO dubraes, and stud aesthetics on the heelcup and cage among others.

Wait, LEGO does sneakers now? If you missed the news last year, LEGO collaborated with Adidas on a limited edition pair of sneakers – the LEGO ZX 8000.

There was quite a bit of controversy with the original release, because LEGO and Adidas hyped it up so much, but it was quite a limited number, and many people who wanted the shoe were missed out on them.

This soured the experience quite a bit as many LEGO fans were unprepared for the onslaught of fighting bots, sneakerfans and having to navigate raffles all for a pair of shoes.

If you’re wondering about the seemingly random choice of colours for this pack, these colours were actually hinted at with the spare laces included in the OG LEGO Adidas ZX 8000 – which came with a set of red, blue, green, yellow, blue and gray laces! Genius!

If you missed out the first time, it’ll also be much much easier to get these, as 6 colourways in a drop is a LOT for a release, and you won’t need to mess around too much to get these.

They might sell out quickly, but not in 5 seconds like the original drop.

I really like this pack! I love colourful shoes (my favourite sneakers are models from Pharrell Williams’ HU range) so this is right up my alley. I do like that there’s something for everyone – so if you want something a little lowkey, you can opt for the black or grey, or if you’re like me, I’ll be aiming for the red or blue pair.
