  1. HC Sievers says:

    Where’s Gringotts?

  2. simon says:

oooooo i want all of them! i have the hogwarts castle and diagon alley so these would add perfectly to my collection!

  3. Keena says:

Can I ask why you think they didn’t continue on with the second revival series and finish it off with sets revolving around Deathly Hollows? I am so disappointed. Do these really not connect in to the pieces from 2018, 2019, & 2020 (Great Hall, Astronomy Tower, etc.)? Do you think they will go back and release sets that connect and coincide with the 7th book/movie in the future?

  4. Amber says:

ugh I hate the old green castle, looks so 90s. Hogsmeade looks like the only decent set. They ruined the chamber of secrets. Thats going to look real ugly next to all my other castles…. have been hanging out all year and I’m mega disappointed in this

    Later releases better redeem them.

    • Elliot says:

I think what I would do is put them in a different spot because they are 20th anniversary sets. But I can agree with you, the 2021 sets are not the greatest.

  5. Nancy says:

Are these worth an investment purchase?? Cuz not sure I want the sets for myself if they don’t interconnect with last years modules! Clock Tower etc…
    And where is Gringott’s?! 😉

    • Jay says:

Harry Potter has a massive fanbase, so yes, for investment purposes, these would be great, especially if you get them closer to the end of their life.

The Golden minifigures in particular will be extremely collectable.

They’re probably saving Gringgots closer to Christmas 😉

  6. Anthony says:

Sorry but I’m disappointed. Was looking forward to the Deathly Hallows Lego. This years designs look like they have taken a step backwards with the old outdated modular look. Just not interested.

    • Yeah, I was too to be honest. They just aren’t cohesive with the rest of the theme. They look evocative of older lego harry potter sets which I guess makes sense given they’re celebrating 20 years of lego HP. The only one I like is Hogsmeade

  7. Andrew says:

Will they come with a Flue Powder GWP which disapparates as soon as anyone tries to order it?

I’ll probably aim for Hogsmeade, as Terrence below says it would look good in the winter village. Wizard Chess is kinda cool. Brick-built Fluffy looks interesting (the original was a single piece). Fawkes looks like Hedwig in red, not sure you’d need both unless you’re a completionist. I haven’t been collecting the other minifigure scale Hogwarts Castle sets so will probably give those a miss.

Are we getting Gringotts this year?

  8. Jeff Cooper says:

So Expensive for such little sets!

  9. Sarah says:

Holy moly! I want the Chess Set!!!

  10. I’m bummed that these new modular hogwarts sets don’t match the existing ones and aren’t even compatible. They look amazing though. I’m also wondering why there isn’t any more half blood prince and no deathly hallows based sets.

  11. Liga says:

I am disappointed they don’t have Moaning Myrtle with the poly juice potion set, when they have Nearly Headless Nick in another one, so they clearly can do ghosts! (Although I guess I have Moaning Myrtle from one of the HP mini figure sets)… and I am very confused about why Snape is in the Chess set and not McGonagall, who I think would be a better choice seeing as it was her transfiguration defence (and she deserves a Golden Minifig!). Snape and Quirrel could have both been Golden mini figs in the Quidditch set instead, as they both featured in the rogue bludger scene. I will definitely buy Fawkes (a sweet match for Hedwig) and the chess set and I want Hogsmeade and even though I’ll give the Harry/Hermione set a miss because the big figs aren’t my jam, I will probably buy all the rest of them even though I already spent a fortune on all the other Harry sets already! I want Fluffy! Thanks Jay, love your work 🙂
