LEGO 80103 Dragon Boat Race Available on Australian Online Shop!

Whoa, this is NOT a drill! The LEGO 80103 Dragon Boat Race has appeared on the Australian LEGO.com Online Shop and is now available for purchase with what seems to be no purchase limits.

UPDATE: Seems like it’s temporarily sold out. Watch this space for updates if it restocks!

What a surprising turn of events! Huge kudos to LEGO Australia for making this happen.

it’s also available in New Zealand!

Thanks to everyone who messaged with the news!

For those living in Sydney and surrounds and still interested I spotted this at David Jones Westfield Hornsby (16th June 2019 at 11:20am). There are 11 sets on the shelf.

  2. Nathan says:

I’ve spotted this one in toyworld stores in SA, but apart from that I haven’t seen it anywhere else

  3. Ben says:

This is now marked as a retired product … this, and the price on the upside down (57c exchange rate lol) shows lego Australia really doesn’t care for it’s fans.

    • Mike says:

Yup, I have to say I was confident it was coming back thanks to that status of ‘temporarily out of stock’. What a massive disappointment, and really poor form. Have to say though, looking at eBay and gumtree, it seems people aren’t (that is, CAN’T) ask for the ludicrous 100% markup that the previous two sets had. I think part of it is that it’s not as attractive as those two (my opinion), and perhaps those who missed out just aren’t willing to play that game again.

    • Jay says:

Ahhh yeah, it wasn’t surprising given how sought after these sets are, but hopefully you’ll be able to find them in-store. I haven’t heard wind of Myer and David Jones receiving any.

  4. Craig says:

    Chadstone has them in today

  5. Beyrouth Lego says:

    Hey Jay
I’m lucky enough to live in China and grabbed on of these sets.
Take a look at my Speed Build:

  6. Ben says:

I’m guessing it’s gone for good. Another fail from Lego.

  7. Kent says:

    And it’s gone.

    • Mike says:

Temporarily! And going off Lego’s official statement, it should be widely available for 3-6 months so with a little patience I’m sure we’ll all get one 🙂

  8. RF says:

Hold your horses. “Temporarily out of stock”

  9. Justin says:

Holy crap, this means I don’t have to keep visiting Myer to check up on the set! LEGO Australia are great for doing this. Hopefully we’ll get more sets when the next CNY pops around, but I’d like to see if they’d do sets for the Mid-Autumn Festival. Mooncakes for everyone!

    • Justin says:

It doesn’t seem to be working now for some reason, there’s an error every time I try to add it to the bag.
