LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 sets revealed!
LEGO has officially unveiled a small wave of sets accompanying Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, which opens in theatres in May 2023.
There are 3 sets so far that will accompany the final instalment of James Gunn’s trilogy, with each of the core group of Guardians being spread across the sets – a classic LEGO Marvel playbook. Don’t forget, there’s also the Star-Lord Pencil Pot Helmet set also coming out in April 2023.
The release date for the LEGO GOTG Vol 3 sets will be 1 April 2023, one month before the movie premieres in cinemas, so you can get your LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy fix before seeing it on the big screen.

This seems like an all right wave – I am very excited to finally get an Adam Warlock minifigure, and 76255 The New Guardians’ Ship (aka The Bowie) which first debuted in the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday special looks really trippy.
This 3-set mini wave seems to align with last year’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever release, which also had 3 sets initially before we got a larger War on the Water set, which presumably was held back to prevent movie spoilers.
Hopefully the High Evolutionary makes an appearance in minifigure form! And Gamora is also missing from the lineup so… hopefully we see the both of them soon.
76255 The New Guardians’ Ship – 1108 pieces
76255 The New Guardians’ Ship – US$99.99 / AU$159.99 / £89.99 / €99.99 / CAD$129.99
Minifigures: Star-Lord, Drax, Nebula, Mantis and Adam Warlock
This is probably the set to get from the wave, and I love the radical design of The Bowie and the teal and magenta colour scheme.
It looks pretty large as well, and comes with a display stand. I’ll be picking this one up for sure.
Here’s a reference screenshot from the trailer.
76254 Baby Rocket’s Ship – 330 pieces
76254 Baby Rocket’s Ship – US$34.99 / AU$49.99 / £29.99 / €34.99 / CAD$44.99
Minifigures: Rocket
76254 Baby Rocket’s Ship is the medium-sized set of the wave, and features Baby Rocket, which featured in the latest GOTG Vol 3 trailer, suggesting that we’ll get a closer look at Rocket’s tragic origins.
Baby Rocket is pretty cute, not gonna lie, but with only one minifigure in the set, this one feels kinda pricey and doesn’t exactly scream value.
76253 Guardians of the Galaxy Headquarters – 67 pieces
76253 Guardians of the Galaxy Headquarters – US$9.99 / AU$17.99 / £8.99 / €9.99 / CAD$13.99
Minifigures: Star-Lord, Groot
And last nut not least, a really tiny impulse-buy set, 76253 Guardians of the Galaxy Headquarters which features Star-Lord and young adult Groot.
Groot looks pretty good, with a slightly more mature face and broader shoulders, but this one is pretty basic. Not bad for US$9.99 and certainly an affordable way to get Groot if you’re a fan.
And that’s it for the three LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 sets coming on 1 April 2023! I fully expect a larger set that might come a little later, or after the movie has premiered, but we’ll see if my hunch is right!
