Your first look at the adorable LEGO Wall-E set

LEGO 21303 Wall-E Box

Smyth Toys has given us the very first official pictures of upcoming LEGO Ideas set, 21303 Wall-E and it is adorable beyond belief.

UPDATE: Photos of the finished model have surfaced, check them out here.

LEGO Ideas 21303 Wall-E

Wall-E will be the 12th LEGO Ideas set, which means that it’s supposed to come after the Doctor Who set, which hasn’t officially been leaked or unveiled yet. With 3 LEGO Ideas sets in the pipeline, it remains to be seen if LEGO will unleash all 3 of them on us at the same time or stagger the release.

It doesn’t take an expert to figure this out, but I fully expect this set to be insanely popular when released. Pixar’s Wall-E is one of my favourite animated movies of all time and holds a special place in most people’s hearts.

Wall-E looks pretty small and cute (as he should be) and will retail in Ireland for €57.99 which seems a little steep. No details on Australian pricing, but I hope that it won’t be too ridiculously priced!

No idea whether his cockroach buddy will be included in the set, but I will be sorely disappointed if it isn’t!

After a quiet few months, I’m super excited about the LEGO Ideas sets that are on the horizon!

    Sooo expensive :/

It seems like kids/ families are getting priced out of Lego (yes, I have seen that price per piece has reduced over time). This continues on from the INSANE pricing of the latest Jurassic World Lego sets. Those sets are clearly aimed at kids. I think many kids will be missing out on some many of the greatest Lego sets around because of these prices.
I guess I only had a handful of Lego sets as a kid and now I appreciate the sets I do have. So mum may have been right- less is more (shhhhhh capitalism doesn’t like those words!)

    Just my two bob’s worth!

I definitely agree. I really hope that the sticker price on Smyth toys is just a placeholder for now, it IS very steep. No official details have been released yet, so there’s still a chance that the price will be much much lower than that!

Wow! That is so good. Adorable beyond belief are the perfect words to describe this, and I cannot wait to buy it.

  4. Once AGAIN, WOOOO!!! YEEEAAAAHHHH!!! HUGE fan of Pixar, RIGHT HERE! Gonna see Inside Out soon, can’t wait for this set! I LOVED Wall-E. Great movie, good effects, amazing story. This is one set I can’t wait to get!
