List of all the new late-April 2021 LEGO releases

It’s the 26th of April and there’s a whole bunch of new LEGO sets launching online today!

Here’s a quick rundown of the new sets that are being released today – we have new Star Wars Helmets, and an Imperial Probe Droid, Batman, Venom, Minions and more!

Scout Trooper, Darth Vader Helmet and Imperial Probe Droid

Ahead of Star Wars Day, we have 2 new helmets – Scout Trooper and Darth Vader, as well as the awesome new Imperial Probe Droid going live today!

These are terrific display models (read my review) and I can see these selling quite well, especially for fans who already own and love 2020’s Boba FettStormtrooper and TIE Fighter Helmets.

The LEGO Darth Vader Helmet will retail for $69.99 USD / €69.99 EUR / £59.99 GBP / 89.99 AUD / 99.99 CAD

The Scout Trooper Helmet will retail for $49.99 USD / €49.99 EUR / £44.99 GBP / 89.99 AUD / 69.99 CAD

The Probe Droid will retail for $59.99 USD / €69.99 EUR / £59.99 GBP / 119.99 AUD / 79.99 CAD

That said, if you can afford to wait, and are not worried these may sell out, it may be worth waiting till Star Wars Day / May the 4th to score Double VIP points on LEGO Star Wars purchases, as well as qualify for a sweet 40451 Tatooine Homestead gift with purchase (GWP) which will be free when you order US$85, AU$169 or £85 of LEGO Star Wars sets from 1 – 5 May 2021.

LEGO Looney Tunes Minifigures

If you read my review of the new LEGO Looney Tunes Collectible Minifigures and can’t wait, you’re in luck because they are now officially available from LEGO.com!

Each blind bag will cost:

LEGO Batman Cowl & Classic TV Series Batmobile

One of the most anticipated small sets being released today is the updated2021 76188 Classic TV Series Batmobile, which will retail for | US$29.99 / AU$49.99 / £34.99 and is now available on LEGO.com.

It’s great to see LEGO take on the lower end of the market with these small accessible sets, and if you’ve read my review of the 2021 Classic Batmobile, it’s really perfect for those that missed out on the Classic TV Series Batcave.

Big day for Adam West fans!

That’s not the only set to feature the Caped Crusader – 76182 Batman Cowl is a new entrant to the “helmet/bust/head” theme, and the first from DC Comics.

I’m yet to build mine, so look out for a review soon, but it’s now available from LEGO.com for US$59.99 / AU$89.99 / £54.99.

Marvel Venom Spider-Man & Doctor Octopus Mech Battle

The new 786187 Venom head/bust is also on sale today, and will retail for US$59.99 / AU$89.99 / £54.99 – which pairs really well with 76199 Carnage which will be released later on 1 May 2021 elsewhere in the world but is currently available on LEGO.com if you’re in the US.

Additionally, for LEGO Marvel Mech fans, there’s a new double-mech pack – 76198 Spider-Man & Doctor Octopus Mech Battle pack that’s also on sale.

New LEGO 2021 Minions minifigure-scale sets

Have you been yearning for more LEGO Minions? There are 3 new minifigure-scale Rise of Gru sets that are now available in the US and Australia.

For some reason, the Minions sets have been delayed slightly in the UK, and will launch on 24 May 2021.

Hang tight, as there are also Minions Brickheadz coming as well!

The new LEGO Minions Rise of Gru Brickheadz are now available online from LEGO.com

Unfortunately, the theatrical release of Rise of Gru has been pushed out to July 2022, so I fear that these sets will just languish without being close to a blockbuster movie release.

I have a few upcoming reviews of these sets above, so be sure to subscribe and follow to read those reviews when they get published!
