LEGO 10293 Santa’s Visit is now available through VIP Early Access!

It’s time to get sorted for Christmas as the 2021 LEGO Winter Village set – 10293 Santa’s Visit is now available for LEGO VIP members on LEGO.com globally, ahead of the 1 October 2021 general release!

This is an absolutely delightful addition to your LEGO Christmas or Winter Village display, and is the spiritual successor of the Winter Village Cottage.

I can see Santa’s Visit being one of the more popular LEGO sets as we approach Christmas, and if it’s anything like last year’s Elf Clubhouse, I expect it to sell out before November – so I wouldn’t hesitate on one if I were you.

See below for regional pricing and links.

To find out more about the set, and see more photos as well as how it fits in with other LEGO Winter Village sets, be sure to read my full review of 10293 Santa’s Visit!

In case you missed it, I also reviewed 40499 Santa’s Sleigh, which is a lovely companion to Santa’s Visit. That set, which features four LEGO Reindeer goes on sale on 1 October 2021.

Will you be ordering Santa’s Visit and adding it into your Winter Village?

I was wondering, does Lego use the VIP sales as an early indicator as to how well sales will go? I’ve noticed that they sometimes sell out within days of a product launch, so was thinking that VIP orders could indicate how much demand may differ between one set and another, and gear up production lines to suit. Obviously they still sell out on some lines quickly, but might this help restock all the sooner?

Possibly, but one thing to note is that LEGO’s production capacity and lines are very tight at the moment. They’re still struggling to keep up with demand (Typewriter has been perennially out of stock.

They probably do monitor and track demand, but I also think it’s a really soft way to get people excited about the set, and manufacture some artificial scarcity as they seem to allocate a small number of sets for VIP Early Access.

Then again, it’s a nice nod to VIPs to get early access to the set, and secure your set early, so to speak.
