LEGO introduces the new 10303 Loop Coaster for the ultimate LEGO adrenaline rush!
Thrill-seekers and LEGO amusement park fans, prepare for the ride of your life with LEGO 10303 Loop Coaster, the latest addition to LEGO’s Theme Park collection.
At 92cm tall, this insanely cool roller coaster joins the LEGO Icons ʷʰᵃᵗˀ theme, retailing for US$399.99 / AU$599.99 and will be available on 1 July 2022, exclusively from LEGO.com and LEGO brand retail stores.
Designed by Pierre Normandin, 10303 Loop Coaster will be the ultimate companion to 2018’s 10261 Roller Coaster, which was my favourite set of that year, and only just recently retired, but curiously, still available on Amazon Australia on sale!
With the elevator tower, and double loops, it completely flips the LEGO Roller Coaster format on its head, delivering a whole new way to watch the cars zip around the track.

This is a remarkably engineered set, and stands at 92cm tall, making it one of the tallest LEGO sets yet. The tall elevator tower is essential to give it enough potential energy to blast the cars through the two gravity-defying loops.
10303 is a huge set, tall, but with a much more compact footprint than 10261 Roller Coaster. Its dimensions are 92cm (36″) tall, 85cm (33.5″) wide, and 34cm (13.5″) deep. You’ll definitely need to free up some space for this!
You can either use a crank, or power it up with motorised components to raise the elevator, raising the car up to the top of the ride before it zips downwards to complete the track.
Of course, you’ll have to see the set in action to fully appreciate just how cool it is – here’s a video supplied by LEGO.
10303 Loop Coaster comes with 11 minifigures, including a ride operator, balloon seller, pretzel seller, hot-dog seller, a grandma, a young boy, and five rollercoaster riders.
There is also a hotdog cart, a pretzel stand, and even this map of the LEGO theme park, which sees the Loop Coaster being the star attraction, alongside a Carousel, Ferris Wheel and Haunted House.
While most will be captivated by the Loop Coaster’s playability, I think it’s also a really aesthetically pleasing display model. I really like the dark blue used (my favourite LEGO colour), and the new yellow tracks contrast amazingly against it.
