Here’s a look at the upcoming LEGO 40562 Mystic Witch gift with purchase (GWP)

LEGO’s online store have published official images of the next October gift with purchase, 40562 Mystic Witch, which will be available from 14 – 31 October, just in time for Halloween celebrations!
It will be free when you spend US$100 / AU$165 / £100 / €100 on LEGO.com and yes, if jump on it straight away on the 14, 15 or 16th of October, you’ll even get to stack this offer with Double VIP Points.
If you’re in Australia, and don’t really want VIP Points, you could also try waiting for the 40513 Spooky VIP Add On Pack which will be available from 20-31 October with purchases of AU$119 or more.
It’s really interesting that this is themed as a Creator 3-in-1 set, and doesn’t have the usual packaging of a regular GWP. At 257 pieces, it’s pretty good value, especially if you’re after something suitably festive for Halloween without breaking the bank.
I do wonder if this was meant to be a retail set that somehow got repurposed to become a gift with purchase.
Like any Creator 3-in-1 set, you can also build 2 alternate models, a Witchy Cat, and a Witchy Dragon (both of whom are wearing the Witch’s Hat) which just adds to the playability and longevity of the set.
And it’s also great if you need more purple elements!
