Sneak peek at LEGO 40586 Moving Truck gift with purchase, plus availability details

Update: We now have confirmed availability and threshold details for 40586 Moving Truck GWP! According to the LEGO Website it will be available from 21 February – 3 March 2023, and will be a free gift when you spend over US$180 on all purchases from LEGO.com. Unfortunately, it means 10316 Rivendell won’t qualify as it releases just after the Moving Truck.

The LEGO online store has given us our very first look at 40586 Moving Truck, which is believed to be an upcoming gift with purchase.

There are no details about the availability yet but with a Double VIP Points offer and 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance GWP currently active until 16 February, it’ll probably occur after that, given LEGO’s penchant of sequencing GWPs so that they don’t clash and accidentally stack with one another.

In the instructions manual, you can get a better look at the set which depicts a red moving truck, 2 minifigures and a bunch of brick-built furniture items such as a buffet table, piano, jukebox and even a painting of a stylised saxophone.

The instructions also give us a peek into a really cool feature – all of the Moving Truck’s contents can be tightly packed into the back! This is so satisfying!

Another neat inclusion and nod to LEGO City is this slightly updated Cargo logo on the Moving Truck!

The items look to suggest that it will fit in quite well with the Modular Jazz Club, perhaps if the tailor or office manager moves out and a musical enthusiast moves in.

Either way, it looks like quite a substantial City-esque build that could easily slot into your Modular Street.
