Australian LEGO Sales & New Set Availability March 2017
It’s been awhile since I’ve done a sales post but there’s a ton of sales, offers and new products that have recently become available that I figured it would be great news to share with the community!
Here’s a compilation of all the March LEGO Sales & Deals in Australia.
Myer (Super Saturday 3 – 4 March)
UPDATE: Myer’s eBay storeGet an extra 10% off at with the code C10AU. The eBay store doesn’t have as big a range as the Myer website and mostly only has some of the older sets. Still a great discount if you want to pick up some sets you missed.
Myer has by far one of the best LEGO sales at the moment for their Super Saturday offer with 25% off all LEGO except for Minifigures and LEGO Batman Movie sets.
The sale will be in-store on Saturday but as you can see above, it’s already active on their online store. 25% off is an above-average discount and it’s the perfect opportunity to pick up some of new Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Technic, Mighty Micros & Elves sets.
Notable inclusions include the Modular Brick Bank (unlisted on the Myer site, so use this link) for $187.46 (RRP $250), and also the Creator Expert Big Ben set for AU$262.46 (RRP $350).
Toys R Us Australia (Catalogue Link 1 – 14 March)
On the flipside, Toys R Us Australia also has a decent LEGO sale, with a Buy 1 Get 50% all LEGO offer. That’s effectively 25% off if you can buy two sets that are priced identically, and it is great that the sale extends to ALL LEGO.
Some shopping ideas include TRU exclusives like the:
- 75175 A-Wing Starfighter – AU$79.99 (in-store only and not listed online)
- 75178 Rebel Combat Frigate – AU$199.99
- 70732 Ninjago City of Stix – AU$179.99
- 75096 Sith Infiltrator – AU$159.99
- 41134 Heartlake Performance School – AU$129.99
Unfortunately, there’s still no sign of the LEGO Batman Movie 70912 Arkham Asylum even though the product page is online.
Target Australia (Catalogue Link 2 – 8 March)
Target Australia has a short 1 week catalogue sprinkled with a few selected sets on sale. Nothing particularly notable unless you’re after a few Star Wars Microfighters sets or new LEGO Nexo Knights Mechs which are 25% off, and a few smaller Friends sets on sale.
Unless you’re after the ridiculous 41301 Puppy Parade set or 41128 Amusement Park Space Ride which are 35% off, there’s nothing particularly noteworthy here.
UPDATE: Classic TV Series Batcave, UCS Tie Fighter & Assault on Hoth on sale too
Target also has the following large exclusive sets on sale. You can currently only find the Classic TV Series Batcave in stock on their online store but I’ve also received word that you can find Assault on Hoth and the UCS Tie Fighter on sale if you’re lucky to find them in-store.
If you’re thinking of snagging the Batcave, you should grab it on Target’s eBay store with the code C10AU for an extra 10% off.
- 76052 Classic TV Series Batcave – $399| $299 (25%)
- 76052 Classic TV Series Batcave (Ebay with code C10AU) – $399| $269 (32%)
- 75098 Assault on Hoth – $399| $299 (25%)
- 75095 UCS Tie Fighter – $279| $199 (28%)
Thanks to Jamie and Christopher for the heads up on this.
Big W (Catalogue Link 2 – 15 March)
Big W has a slightly meatier LEGO catalogue offer, with some great deals on LEGO Batman Movie sets like 70905 The Batmobile (25% off) and 70908 The Scuttler (23% off) which is great since Myer aren’t discounting them.
Other notable highlights include some of the newer Ninjago sets on sale – 70627 Dragon’s Forge is particularly tempting at AU$99 which is almost 30% off. 70625 Samurai VXL is also 30% off which isn’t too shabby.
There are also some discounted LEGO Dimensions sets that have been reduced. Not sure if this means all Fun, Level & Team Packs are $17, $25 and $32 respectively or if they’re only referring to the ones in the catalogue.
New Products on LEGO.com
It’s March, so we’ve got brand new sets on LEGO.com, which includes the new Speed Champion and Minecraft sets. It’s important to note that Australia is only getting the new Speed Champion sets at retail in the second half of the year, so if you don’t want to wait till then to pick up your very own Bugatti Chiron, you best order them online.

Oh, and the Easter Seasonal set, 40237 Easter Egg Hunt is finally available as well!
If you’re planning to do a big LEGO.com shop, I’d recommend waiting till April, when we will get the VW Mini Beetle set from 4 – 20 April. The US will be getting this deal on 1 – 15 April, so the Yanks aren’t missing out on this promo!
That’s it for now! Anyone planning any LEGO shopping this weekend? Let me know what you plan on picking up in the comments!
Hope you guys have a fantastic weekend!
