Sneak peek of LEGO 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System (SLS)
Update: LEGO have now officially revealed the LEGO NASA Artemis Space Launch System! It will release on LEGO.com on 15 May 2025 alongside 31212 The Milky Way!
A lucky redditor (/u/Space_Promotion661) has given us our very first look at the upcoming LEGO Icons NASA Artemis Space Launch System (10341) after stumbling upon it in a LEGO Store at Taipei Airport.
(If I had a nickel every time a new LEGO set was leaked at an Airport LEGO Store, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice)
This massive 3,601-piece model of NASA’s Artemis 1 rocket, and Space Launch System celebrates NASA’s Artemis Program which seeks to reestablish human presence on the moon, including setting up a base on the moon as a stepping stone towards a manned mission to Mars.
If you’re familiar with the Artemis Program, I’d daresay you’d be very impressed by how well LEGO managed to replicate the Artemis 1 rocket in brick form! Shame about the stickers all over the rocket though.
We don’t have any details on pricing, or release dates yet, or a look at the back of the box, but if they’re already showing up in LEGO Stores, it might point towards a 1 May 2024 release.
2024 is shaping up to be a massive year for LEGO Space, and after outings in LEGO City, Creator, Classic, DreamZzz, Friends and more, it’s about time that LEGO Icons got into the action as well!
Can’t wait to see more of the set when LEGO officially reveals it!
