Site Maintenance: Please expect some downtime

So this is a quick update – there will be some website maintenance happening in the background, which might mean some extended downtime!

I don’t know how long it will take, but I clearly underestimated the amount of traffic I’ve been getting in the last few weeks, so I’ve gone ahead to upgrade my hosting plan, so that there will be less issues.

Websites are hard, and I’m not the most tech-savvy person so hopefully this goes okay without any catastrophic issues.

To put things into perspective, I’ve been blogging for close to 10 years now, and just in the last week, the records for days with the most traffic has been broken, twice!

I’ll be upgrading my hosting to be able to cater for more concurrent users, and will hopefully be able to handle all the traffic better, but that might mean that the site may go down in the next 24 hours.
