71395 Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block

71395 Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block is a 2064-piece homage to the one of the THE most influential video games of all time Super Mario 64

This incredible design, which looks like a classic Mario Question Mark Block hides micro-worlds from the Nintendo 64 classic on the inside, opening up to reveal iconic levels such as Peach’s Castle, Bob-omb Battlefield, Cool, Cool Mountain and Lethal Lava Land.

10293 Santa’s Visit

The 2021 LEGO Winter Village set has both charm, great design, and festive holiday vibes – with a family house that’s a spiritual successor of the LEGO Winter Village Cottage.

Be sure to read my review of Santa’s Visit to see more of the set, and what I thought of it.

10290 Pickup Truck

10290 Pickup Truck was announced WAY back in July, which feels like a lifetime ago. That said, it finally goes on sale on the 1st of October, and this vintage Pickup Truck has heavy Christmas and holiday vibes, which almost makes it an unofficial hybrid of LEGO Christmas and Creator Expert cars sets.

I’m going to be picking this one up tomorrow!

10291 Queer Eye The Fab 5 Loft

If Christmas isn’t your thing (what are you, the Grinch?), but you’re more of a stylish, connoisseur of modern architecture and fashion makeover reality TV, maybe the

Check out my full review of the LEGO Queer Eye set to read about what I thought about it. Spoiler warning: this was one of the most pleasant surprises of 2021.

21329 Fender Stratocaster

Or perhaps you’re into classic rock music, or wanting to add to your collection of LEGO brick-built objects – the LEGO Ideas Fender Stratocaster is for you.

I’m really keen on picking one up, and I think this will be the sleeper hit of 2021, and be an extremely popular gift come Christmas time.

LEGO Marvel The Eternals

The next big Marvel Cinematic Universe movie is The Eternals, directed by the incredibly talented Chloe Zhao, premiering on 5 November.

There will be 4 sets from this wave, and in true LEGO Marvel Super Heroes form, you’ll have to collect them all to get the entire main cast of The Eternals.

To see more of each set, check out the Eternals announcement post for more photos of the sets.

76239 Batmobile Tumbler: Scarecrow Showdown

  • 422 pieces
  • Minifigures: Batman and Scarecrow
  • Price: US$39.99 / AU$59.99 / £34.99
  • Buy from: LEGO.com [US] [AU] [UKAmazon.com [US]
  • Dimensions: The vehicle measures over 2.5 in. (7 cm) high, 7.5 in. (19 cm) long and 4.5 in. (12 cm) wide and combines easily with other LEGO® DC Batman™ sets.

I’m really excited about this one, and will be building this one next, but there is a smaller, minifig-scale Batman Tumbler coming at a really affordable and space-efficient price point.

DC has had a comparatively rough year, especially when you put them side by side with Marvel whose had a stellar year, but this Tumbler is a great addition for people wanting more of Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy in LEGO form.

Picked this up already, and can’t wait to put this one together.

40499 Santa’s Sleigh

It is what it is – a LEGO Reindeer Battle Pack. 40499 Santa’s Sleigh has a simple proposition – a big red traditional Sleigh for Santa Claus, pulled by 4 LEGO Reindeer.

For many people, the 4 Reindeer is going to be the reason you’ll pick up one (or multiples of the set), but as a standalone set, it makes for a pretty great gift, and expansion to your LEGO Christmas/Winter Village.

Check out my review of 40499 Santa’s Sleigh – which I loved! Plus, it also goes incredibly well with 10293 Santa’s Visit and any LEGO Winter Village.

40478 Mini Disney Castle

Honey, I shrunk the 71040 Disney Castle. This is one of the best sets of 2021, and a great budget-friendly alternative for those wanting to display a LEGO Display Castle, but don’t want to drop hundreds of dollars on one.

The Mini Disney Castle coincides with the 50th anniversary of Disney World, and also comes with an exclusive Mickey Mouse.

I expect this one to sell out immediately, and will be quite hard to find, as I can see many people wanting to get their hands on these for themselves, or as Christmas gifts.

Read my review of 40478 Disney Castle to find out why I absolutely adore this set, and gave it a rare 5/5 score.
