Two LEGO Star Wars sets from Andor and Jedi: Survivor revealed at Star Wars Celebration 2022

LEGO have unveiled two more Summer 2022 LEGO Star Wars sets – 75338 Ambush on Ferrix, and 75335 BD-1, which are now available for pre-order on LEGO.com, ahead of a 1 August 2022 release.

These follow the debut of the Andor trailer and reveal of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a sequel to the Jedi: Fallen Order video game.

75338 Ambush on Ferrix is based on the upcoming Andor Disney+ series, and follows the journeys of Cassian Andor, as a prequel before Rogue One.

These 2 sets join yesterday’s reveal of two sets based on Obi-Wan Kenobi, building up the slate of new Star Wars sets for August 2022.

75338 Ambush on Ferrix – 679 pieces

75338 Ambush on Ferrix is the first known set based on Andor, but I hope more is on the way as Rogue One is one of my favourite Star Wars properties, and I would love to see more from the gritty world, far removed from the Jedi/Sith.

The set included a Mobile Tac-Pod, which borrows heavily from the Republic Gunship design, and a Speeder Bike, and comes with 3 minifigures, Cassian Andor, Luthen Rael and Syril Karn.

75335 BD-1 – 1062 pieces

Fans of the Jedi Fallen Order games, starring the adventures of fan-favourite Cal Kestis will be delighted that a sequel is on the way, and will be able to own their very own buildable BD-1 exploration droid.

It’s quite a large set, evident by the photos supplied, and the BD-1 droid model stands over 31 cm (12.5 in.) tall, and is fully posable, with joints and a head that can be tilted back, forward and sideways, plus a compartment for stim canister elements.

BD-1 will be a great addition to the LEGO Droid sub-theme, joining 75308 R2-D2, 75306 Imperial Probe Droid, and the retired 75278 D-O and 75187 BB-8.

When are we getting a Gonk Droid in this scale, LEGO??

75338 Ambush on Ferrix, and 75335 BD-1 will be released on 1 August 2022 worldwide, and can be pre-order on LEGO.com.
