This was an extremely tough decision. I have a lot of minifigures that I really like for a number of different reasons, whether it’s design, uniqueness, or sentimental value. In the end, if I had to just pick one, I would probably go with this guy (https://img.bricklink.com/ItemImage/MN/0/sw0160.png) from 2007’s Naboo N-1 Starfighter and Vulture Droid, though for some reason, my guy had a regular officer hat instead of the pilot’s cap, which I assumed belonged to Anakin. This was my first ever LEGO Star Wars set and I have a soft spot for generic minifigures/unnamed characters, so I guess I would have to choose him as my favorite!

It’s hard to beat the original Boba Fett with the helmet and jetpack molded as a single piece. The newer versions are obviously more accurate, and it’s great to be able to turn his head, but there’s something so iconically “LEGO” about his first incarnation – even though I only have the regular version and not the fancy one from Cloud City with arm printing.

My favorite is my Biggs Darklighter minifigure from the 1999 X-Wing. I definitely have some way cooler figures and really like some of the more random ones like the muddy Han Solo fig from Solo. But I found my Biggs figure in a box of my old Legos during the pandemic and I just loved how simple it was and also the memories it brought of how different Star Wars Legos were in 1999 when I was admittedly growing out of Legos, but both me and my parents refused to except that as the Star Wars sets were coming out.
