A complete guide to LEGO VIP Days 2023 Deals and Promotions

To compete with Amazon’s Prime Day, LEGO has launched VIP Days 2023, featuring 5 days of sales, offers and gifts, exclusively for LEGO VIPs.

The sales aren’t groundbreaking, but there are a number of big ticket items, and fairly new releases on it, and the 40581 BIONICLE Tahu and Takua and 40580 Blacktron Cruiser GWP combo if you’re in the US, UK and EU.

Here’s a rundown of what’s on offer for LEGO VIP Days 2023!

  • Double VIP Points on LEGO City, Friends, Harry Potter, and Technic (global)
  • Free Fun and Funky VIP Add-On Pack GWP (global)
  • 40581 BIONICLE Tahu and Takua and 40580 Blacktron Cruiser when you spend over US$220 / €220 / £200 (US, UK & EU)
  • Drawstring Bag and LEGO Baking Set for free when you spend AU$320 (AU/NZ)
  • Selected sets on sale (regional dependent)

See here for a complete list of offers and promotions in your local region.

LEGO VIPs in the UK and EU are in for a treat, as you can get TWO GWPs – the  40581 BIONICLE Tahu and Takua AND 40580 Blacktron Cruiser when you spend over €220 / £200.

A great two-in-one combo for these 2 nostalgic remakes.

    These are not “VIP days”
These are: “In case you missed it days.”

The offering isn’t bad, and I’d be more inclined to spend if I didn’t already have everything being offered. So, I’m a bit disappointed and will wait for actual new offerings.

  2. Håkan says:

Hmm, the scope this year is too limited to tempt me. I mostly use 2x VIP periods for buying PAB orders, Lego Store BAM minifigs and occasional Marvel sets, so I’ll probably skip on these offers…

    • nejakdivne says:

I agree as well, shame the double VIP points are not for every theme – like it was in June. I’m a bit gutted about that, as unfortunately in June I was not lucky to be quick enough – Rivendell set got out of stock too quickly (literally hours), so I had nothing I’d want to buy to get advantage of that 2xVIP pts. It then got back in stock, after the action offer was over.. Coincidence? 🙂

In other words, Lego, if you think your profits are bad, stop pulling legs of regular customers.

    • Jay Ong says:

Yeah, very underwhelming, unless you missed out on the Blacktron Cruiser when it first came out, and so happen to have a few smaller sets that you were eyeing on sale.

Doesn’t feel very VIP at all, more like leftovers.

Also surprised they didn’t discount any VIP rewards, or offer up something completely new.

  3. Hassan AL-Janahi says:

The link for (Real Madrid – Santiago Bernabéu Stadium) in the USA and Canada is for (Winter Village Cottage) set

  4. Caitlyn says:

They talked up the VIP days so much I thought there’d be something different every day, but it’s just a bag and cookie cutters 🙃

  5. i says:

Great! I don’t have to buy anything as nothing from this is tempting at all. Good job Lego to make this year’s promotion so bad that I’m saving my money.

  6. James says:

I was initially excited that I might score the Blacktron cruiser when I buy the Eldorado fortress set, but a bag? Really??? It probably costs more per “set” to ship the bag and baking items to Australia than any of the actual GWP lego sets 🤔
Australia is an awesome place to live, but when it comes to Lego, the back end of the world does have it’s downsides 😉

    • Andrew says:

I agree sadly. I’ve been after the Firefighter Aircaft, but it seems to be “exclusive” here in Australia, so it’s not available at the majors or amazon. Presumably this is the reason it isn’t included in the sale here, despite being so elsewhere. I’d love Eldorado, but will wait until there’s a GWP or bonus points offer.

    • Jay Ong says:

Yeah, unfortunately for some reason, we got the Blacktron Cruiser in early June, hence why we just get a bag and baking set for VIP Days.

At least we get reliable 30-40% off discounts that come around often enough.

    • KE says:

I had the Eldorado Fortress in my cart the night before and woke up expecting to hit the order button. I then saw the bag and baking things and felt my dreams being crushed lol. Guess I’ll wait to see what the next GWPs might be.
