    Buying Guide: Every new LEGO set releasing in August 2023

    After a relatively quiet July, LEGO have a monster August 2023 release slate, with a massive lineup of new sets launching from 1 August 2023 onwards.

    There’s something for nearly every LEGO fan, including some incredibly massive record-breaking sets like 42146 Liebherr Crawler Crane LR 13000 to the return of LEGO Architecture with the beautiful 21060 Himeji Castle.

    LEGO Icons fans in search of zen can look forward to 10315 Tranquil Garden, or those with the need for speed can look forward to 10321 Corvette, which launches via VIP Early Access on the 1st of August.

    The big launch of August is LEGO DreamZzz and LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog, two new LEGO themes, with the first being a new original theme that’s a lot of fun and features some truly fantastical builds.

    For those with a knack for artistic expression, we also have 31209 The Amazing Spider-Man and 31210 Modern Art coming for precious real estate on your walls.

    And last but certainly not least, LEGO Super Heroes fans have a lot to look forward to with the highly anticipated launch of 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle, as well a bunch of Batvehicles with 76265 Batwing Batman vs. The Joker and 76224 Batmobile: Batman vs The Joker Chase. if 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle is on your list, I wouldn’t hesitate as I expect this set to sell out on Day 1 due to the sheer popularity and hype generated by all 3 Spideys included in it.

    August 2023 LEGO GWPs and Promos

    Despite the massive number of new sets available, the start of August is pretty light on LEGO GWPs.

    We have 40593 Fun Creativity 12-in-1 carrying over, and will be free when you spend US$80 / AU$130 / £75 / €80 until 6 August 2023.

    But that’s pretty much it in terms of confirmed GWPs.

    I think there’s a fairly good chance that 40594 Houses of the World 3 will show up sometime in August, as the new Houses of the World GWPs usually get released at the start of each quarter, and didn’t show up in July, so if I was a betting man, it should pop up in August 2023.

    If you’ve been collecting the Houses of the World GWPs, and have a few big purchases lined up, I’d seriously consider waiting until Houses of the World 3 pops up.
