Buying Guide: Every new LEGO set releasing in July 2023

LEGO’s July 2023 release slate isn’t the biggest, but it definitely packs a heavy punch with a trio of highly-anticipated sets being released that fans have been waiting for.

LEGO Disney fans will be looking forward to 43222 Disney Castle, the ultimate 100th anniversary edition of the Disney Castle that comes with eight highly anticipated Disney Prince and Princess minifigures.

Those who enjoy all things spooky and Halloween will also be able to look forward to 21341 Hocus Pocus The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage, which is a fantastic homage to the beloved Halloween cult-classic film.

And last but not least, LEGO Pirates fans are in for a treat with 10320 Eldorado Fortress, a remake of the iconic 1989 set!

Both 21341 Hocus Pocus The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage and 43222 Disney Castle will be released on 1 July 2023 for LEGO VIPs, ahead of a 4 July 2023 general release.

It’s free to sign up for a LEGO VIP account in case this is your first time shopping with LEGO.

For fans wanting to indulge in serious LEGO nostalgia, and relive your childhood LEGO Pirates memories, 10320 Eldorado Fortress is an incredibly faithful, reimagination of one of the most recognisable LEGO Pirates sets of all time, which releases on 4 July 2023 for LEGO VIPs, ahead of a 7 July 2023 general release.

July 2023 LEGO GWPs and Promos

To celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary and the launch of 43222 Disney Castle, July’s GWP is Disney-themed, featuring several vignettes paying homage to Mickey Mouse and Disney’s legacy in film and animation

40600 Disney 100 Years Celebration will be available as a gift with purchase from 1-9 July, and will be free when you spend over US$100 / AU$170 / £95 / €100 on LEGO Disney sets from LEGO.com or at a LEGO store.

Update:  21341 Hocus Pocus The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage does qualify for this GWP!

Unfortunately, I don’t think the 21341 Hocus Pocus The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage will qualify as it’s an Ideas set, but I hope I’m wrong!

See below for regional information and the most up-to-date details for other the July 2023 GWPs and offers.

43222 Disney Castle (1 July 2023 VIP Early Access)

The major launch of July 2023 is 43222 Disney Castle, an epic upgrade to 2016’s Disney Castle. This 2023 version is Disney 100-themed, and has more elements, as well as 8 minifigures, including Snow White, Cinderella, Rapunzel and Tiana, as well as their male counterparts.

21341 Hocus Pocus The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage (1 July 2023 VIP Early Access)

The next LEGO Ideas set is a spooky take on Hocus Pocus, the Halloween cult-classic that features a really great medieval house, and the Sanderson Sisters as minifigures. It will be available on 1 July 2023 for LEGO VIPs, ahead of a 4 July 2023 general release.

Check out my detailed review of 21341 The Sanderson Sisters’ to see what I thought of the set, and why it’s a great homage to the beloved Halloween film.

10320 ELDORADO FORTRESS (4 JULY 2023 VIP EARLY ACCESS)

For nostalgic and Pirates fans, LEGO have dug into their archives to remake one of the most legendary LEGO Pirates sets, with 10320 Eldorado Fortress! It’s an incredibly faithful take on the 1989 classic, with plenty of modern build techniques and minifigures added that will sure to delight fans of the original, or those who’ve always yearned for it when flipping through LEGO catalogues.

Check out my detailed review of 10320 Eldorado Fortress to see how LEGO has reimagined and upgraded this set for 2023.

LEGO Exclusives Australia and New Zealand

For those of us in Australia, there are some LEGO.com and LEGO Store exclusives that will go on sale on 1 July 2023. These released worldwide in June, but Australia tends to get these a little later than everyone else.

40650 Land Rover Classic Defender is going to be incredibly popular!

And that’s it for LEGO’s July 2023 release slate!
