First look at LEGO 75383 Sith Infiltrator with Saw Gerrera minifigure coming in May 2024
German retailer JB Spielwaren has given us our very first look at the new 75383 Sith Infiltrator, which is set to be released in May 2024.
- 75383 Sith Infiltrator – US$69.99 / AU$89.99 / £59.99 / €69,99 / CAD$89.99
- 75378 BARC Speeder Escape – US$29.99 / AU$39.99 / £24.99 / €29,99 / CAD$39.99
It’s part of LEGO Star Wars 25th Anniversary collection (with the snazzy blue box art), and included 4 minifigures – young Anakin Skywalker, Qui-Gon Jinn, Darth Maul and an exclusive Saw Gerrera minifigure.
This set retails for US$69.99 / €69.99 and should be out on 1 May 2024. It’s been about 9 years since LEGO’s last minifigures-scale Sith Infiltrator, so new LEGO Star Wars fans should be happy to pick this set up.
To celebrate 25 Years of LEGO Star Wars, LEGO have also been including special limited edition minifigures in each set, and this set will see the inclusion of Saw Gerrera, a fan-favourite from the Clone Wars/pre-OT era.
In Rogue One, he was played by Forest Whitaker, and this marks his very first debut as a minifigure, making this set highly appealing to LEGO Star Wars fans.
Just one thing… I’m not sure what LEGO is going for with Saw Gerrera’s armour being green instead of blue like how he’s depicted in the movies.
The prints look great on the minifigure, but the wrong colour is likely going to rub Star Wars fans the wrong way.
And here’s a look at the Darth Maul, Qui Gon and Anakin Skywalker minifigures.
All in all, looks like a pretty pricey set, with LEGO dangling Saw Gerrera as an exclusive minifigure, so this will likely be a divisive set amongst fans, especially since this will cost US$70.
