First look at the 2021 LEGO Bonsai Tree & Flower Bouquet!

Introducing the LEGO Botanical Collection, a brand new 18+ sub-theme featuring highly detailed buildable plants coming to you in 2021.

The first 2 sets have been revealed as LEGO 10280 Flower Bouquet and 10281 Bonsai Tree – coming to you on 1 January 2021, and will be available directly from LEGO.com as well as other specialty retailers.

Here are the regional pricing and product links:

10281 Bonsai Tree

10280 Flower Bouquet

This is a really interesting direction that LEGO is heading into – buildable replicas of real life objects and they look like they would make amazing home / work desk decorations that are perfect for adults looking to show off some classy LEGO creations.

Also perfect for indoor plant enthusiasts that are also obsessed about LEGO!

10281 Bonsai Tree – 878 pieces

The LEGO Bonsai Tree is the star of the collection, and I really love that they’ve included 2 versions – with green leaves, and the other with pink blossoms, suggesting that this is loosely based off Cherry Blossoms.

At 878 pieces, it’s a great medium-sized 18+ set which should make for a fun afternoon of building.

10280 Flower Bouquet – 756 pieces

For those of you more inclined towards floral arrangements, 10280 Flower Bouquet has you covered with a rich bouquet of brick-built flowers.

The designs are beautifully intricate and this set is the closest thing you’d get to a retail LEGO set that doubles as a piece of art.

Vase not included for the flower bouquet, but this looks like a great piece to incorporate into your home in a very classy and understated manner.

Who says plastic plants are tacky?

Really excited to see them in the flesh, and the LEGO Bonsai Tree is on my list of sets to purchase in early 2021 as it’ll fit in quite nicely near all my indoor plants!
