First official look at LEGO Minifigures Series 22!

German retailer JB Spielwaren have given us our very first official look at the upcoming LEGO Collectible Minifigures (CMF) Series 22, which should be released on 1 January!

Update: Check out my review of LEGO Minifigures Series 22!

There are 12 new minifigures to collect in LEGO’s long-running blind bag series, and this looks to be one of the best army-builder minifigures series yet, with some really incredible characters to collect and amass!

Here’s the list of 12 character names

  • Robot Repair Tech
  • Chilli Costume Fan
  • Troubadour
  • Snow Guardian
  • Horse & Groom
  • Figure Skating Champion
  • Night Protector
  • Forest Elf
  • Birdwatcher
  • Raccoon Costume Fan
  • Space Creature
  • Wheelchair Racer

There’s so much to love here, and I’m especially excited about the Purple Classic Space torso on the Alien minifigure!

The Raccoon Suit Girl is a great addition to LEGO’s Animal Costume minifigure sub-series, and I am also going to amass an absolute ton of Moon and Frost Warriors, which just look brilliant. For medieval/castle fans, it’s also about time we got ourselves a Bard minifigure!

I also really like LEGO championing diversity with the Wheelchair racer.

Overall, there also seems to be great gender balance, with a 50-50 split of male and female minifigures, which is another big win.

I can’t wait to share my review of LEGO Minifigures Series 22, so keep an eye out for that in the coming weeks!

Which LEGO Minifigures Series 22 characters are you most looking forward to?

  1. Christy says:

Oh I want the robot builder looks like my husband in a welding suit and that trash panda my kids would get a good laugh at

  2. Roope Ihonen says:

I guess I’ll most likely pick up the Raccoon suit guy and the bard. I’m glad I’m semi good feeling the minifigures. Thanks for this post! 🙂

  3. Is that a JoJo reference?

  4. Emma says:

I’ve never seen a Lego Store sorting them! Where are you?
I like the wheelchair athlete – great to see a sports chair 🙂

  5. Andy says:

Definitely the purple classic space alien!

One good thing that’s come of Covid is my local Lego store have been pre-sorting all the CMF bags so there’s no searching anymore 🙂 I hope they continue this tradition.

    • Mike says:

Jealous – my Lego Store just suggested I could buy a bunch, feel them, and return any that unopened bags I didn’t want. (And thus I wound up ordering a full set on Bricklink…)

      Looking forward to this series!
